Priscilla Presley revealed at a Q&A event in Las Vegas that she had chosen not to remarry following her divorce from Elvis Presley. She shared with the audience at the South Point Casino that she simply couldn't see herself entering into another marriage.
"I don't believe he would have been able to cope with that," she commented regarding her deceased former husband from 1977.
"Being honest, I never had any intention of getting remarried following him. I never felt any inclination to do so," she asserted. "No one could ever compare to him."

The former couple, married from 1967 to 1973, is the focus of Sofia Coppola's new film "Priscilla." The movie explores their initial meeting and friendship in Germany in 1959, when Presley was 14 and Elvis was 24, before their eventual marriage.
Presley also mentioned their daughter, Lisa Marie Presley, born in 1968, and revealed that the singer experienced feelings of guilt for not being present enough.
"Elvis believed that his jam-packed schedule contributed to his absence during Lisa's early years," Presley stated. Furthermore, she acknowledged, "Due to his demanding tour commitments, he felt he couldn't dedicate sufficient time and attention to raising another child."
