Multiple actors have recently taken on the role of the Dark Knight on screen. Robert Pattinson, who plays The Batman, is set to reprise his role in The Batman Part II, which falls outside the franchise canon under the "DC Elseworlds" umbrella. Meanwhile, Michael Keaton also returned to his iconic role in The Flash. However, it appears that Keaton's portrayal of Batman in The Flash is a one-time appearance, and he is not expected to appear in future DC Universe projects, including Brave and the Bold.
The Flash will see George Clooney appearing as Batman’s alter-ego Bruce Wayne in a nod to his previous role in Batman & Robin. Nevertheless, the actor has stated that he is not in discussions to play Batman. He also joked about his lack of requests to reprise the role.
Ben Affleck made his first appearance as Batman in Batman v Superman, and has since appeared in Suicide Squad, both versions of Justice League, and The Flash. Rumors suggest that he may also make an appearance in Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, which is set after The Flash's DC reset, but this has not been confirmed.
Will the Brave and the Bold introduce a new Bat-actor?
Per Comic Book, Gunn described The Brave and the Bold as “the introduction of the DCU’s Batman”, so it’s likely we’ll see a new actor in the role.

This is the tale of Damian Wayne, the true son of Batman whose existence was a secret for the first eight to 10 years of his life,” he shared.
"He was brought up as a deadly assassin. He’s a tough little guy. He is my preferred Robin. It draws from the Grant Morrison comic book series, which is among my favorite Batman stories, and we are currently bringing it all to life."
Safran remarked, "This will be a feature film showcasing other members of the extended Bat-family, as we believe they have been neglected in the Batman stories on the big screen for too long."
This is all the information available regarding the actor portraying Batman in the Brave and the Bold. More details on the new DC Universe slate can be found here.

As a Gen Z netizen, I'm thrilled about the upcoming DCU movie, The Brave and the Bold, and eager to see who will be cast as the new Batman. The DC Universe has a rich history of iconic Batman portrayals, from Michael Keaton's groundbreaking performance to Christian Bale's gritty take on the character. Robert Pattinson's recent portrayal in The Batman was also well-received, showcasing a new and complex interpretation of the Caped Crusader.
While I appreciate the contributions of these actors, I believe it's time for a fresh perspective on Batman. The Brave and the Bold presents an opportunity to introduce a new generation to the character and explore different aspects of his story. I'm particularly excited about the focus on Damian Wayne's Robin, as it adds a new dynamic to the Batman mythos. With James Gunn and Peter Safran at the helm, I'm confident that The Brave and the Bold will deliver an exciting and innovative take on the Batman character, capturing the imagination of Gen Z audiences and beyond.
