Article Overview
Future Man, a short-lived comedy series, can no longer be streamed on Hulu or Disney+ due to cost-saving cuts.
Future Man's first two seasons are available for purchase on various platforms including Microsoft Store, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, Google Play, and VUDU. Produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, this series combines science fiction and humor to create a raunchy and gross-out comedy experience.
There are several platforms available for fans of the short-lived comedy Future Man to watch the series. Starring Josh Hutcherson, known for his role in The Hunger Games, as Josh Futturman, a custodian who successfully defeats the videogame Biotic Wars, the show takes viewers on a time and universe-hopping adventure with characters from the game. Each season features the actors portraying different versions of the same characters, sometimes with different names and personalities. Premiering on Hulu in November 2017, the series consists of three seasons.
Executive produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, Future Man is a raunchy, gross-out comedy that includes jokes to make the more extravagant and confusing science fiction elements more enjoyable for a wide audience. Alongside Hutcherson, the ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Eliza Coupe, Ed Begley Jr., and Haley Joel Osment, with guest appearances by Will Forte, David Koechner, and Awkwafina. Surprisingly, the series has limited availability, so here is where it can be streamed.
Future Man Is Not Currently Available For Streaming
Despite being made for Hulu, Future Man is no longer available to stream on the platform or any other. Since its premiere, the series has been accessible on both Hulu and Disney+ up until May 27, 2023 (via The Direct). This removal was part of a larger set of cutbacks made to Hulu and Disney+ as a result of their merger. Although the cuts served as a cost-saving measure for Disney+, they have left fans of Future Man and several other popular shows searching for alternative platforms.
Future Man Is Available To Buy: Platforms & Cost Breakdown
Unfortunately, only seasons 1 and 2 of the popular streaming series Future Man are currently available for purchase on several platforms. Regrettably, there is currently no legal means to stream season 3 of Future Man. This TV-MA rated show includes elements of sex and nudity, violence and gore, profanity, and alcohol, drugs, and smoking. It is worth noting that two of the creators of this series, Kyle Hunter and Ariel Shaffir, also worked on the adult-animated film Sausage Party, and Future Man captures the same outrageous and crude humor present in that movie.
The initial two seasons of the show consist of 13 episodes each. Typically, purchasing the show by season proves to be a more cost-effective option compared to buying individual episodes. Both platforms offer the show in high definition, with both seasons priced equally. Below is an official breakdown if interested in purchasing the first two seasons of Future Man:
- Microsoft Store (only season 1): $2.99 per episode (HD); $24.99 for the entire season (HD)
Apple TV - $2.99 episode purchase (HD); $14.99 season purchase (HD)
Amazon Prime Video- $2.99 episode purchase (HD); $14.69 season purchase (HD)
Google Play (season 1 only) - $1.99 episode purchase (HD); $14.99 season purchase (HD)
VUDU - $1.99 episode purchase (HD); $14.99 season purchase (HD)

Editor's P/S
As a Gen Z netizen, I'm disappointed to hear that Future Man is no longer available for streaming on Hulu or Disney+. I was a big fan of the show and enjoyed its unique blend of science fiction, comedy, and gross-out humor. I think it's a shame that the show was canceled after only three seasons, and I'm hoping that it will eventually find a new home on another streaming platform.
I'm also frustrated by the fact that only the first two seasons of Future Man are available for purchase on various platforms. I understand that the third season was more expensive to produce, but I think it's unfair to fans of the show to not make it available for purchase. I'm hoping that the third season will eventually be released on DVD or Blu-ray, so that fans can own a complete collection of the series.
Overall, I'm disappointed by the lack of availability of Future Man. I think it's a great show that deserves to be seen by more people. I'm hoping that it will eventually find a new home on another streaming platform, and that the third season will be made available for purchase.
