In a bygone era, Taylor Swift gathered a group of models, actresses, and musicians to create the music video for her song "Bad Blood." The video made its debut at the Billboard Music Awards in May 2015 and included some of Swift's closest friends, such as Selena Gomez, who remains a loyal companion, and Karlie Kloss, whose friendship with Swift has since become ambiguous.
Other notable figures who made the selection were Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo, chosen by Swift due to her admiration for their talent. Interestingly, Swift honored these actresses by naming two of her cats after their iconic TV characters: Olivia Benson from Law and Order: SVU and Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy.
Although the video showcased Swift's extensive group of friends, the lyrics of the song itself delve into a friendship gone sour. Speculation arose that the song was directed towards Katy Perry, with whom the pop star had a highly publicized feud. However, the two musicians publicly reconciled when they shared an embrace in Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" music video in 2019.

Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' Music Video Cast: Where They Are Now?
In a bygone era, long before the present, Taylor Swift brought together a group of models, actresses, and musicians to create the iconic “Bad Blood” music video. This captivating piece made its debut at the Billboard Music Awards in May 2015.
Swift's closest friends, such as her undying ride-or-die Selena Gomez and her former friend Karlie Kloss, were among the notable stars featured.
In addition, Swift selected other well-known figures whose work she deeply admires, including Mariska Hargitay and Ellen Pompeo. Swift's appreciation for Hargitay and Pompeo's iconic television characters led her to name two of her cats after them - Olivia Benson from Law and Order: SVU and Meredith Grey from Grey's Anatomy, respectively.
While the video showcases Swift's large circle of friends, the song itself delves into a strained friendship, sparking speculation that it is referring to the well-known feud between the pop star and Katy Perry. (The two singers publicly made amends when they embraced in Swift's "You Need to Calm Down" music video in 2019).
Even though Swift no longer displays her friends and idols on stage like she did during the 1989 World Tour, the "Bad Blood" video remains as a reminder of her time as the leader of a tight-knit group.

Taylor Swift
In a March 2019 essay for Elle, Swift hinted at the reason behind the apparent disbanding of her once-massive friend group, nearly four years after the release of the “Bad Blood” video. Reflecting on her experiences in her 20s, the Grammy winner acknowledged the importance of distinguishing between lifelong friendships and situationships as a valuable lesson she had learned.
"We’re in our young twenties!" draws people together, forming groups that can feel like chosen family. These connections may last a lifetime or be limited to an important phase. Swift acknowledges that as we grow, relationships can be outgrown, leaving behind friendships but preserving cherished memories.
Since the release of her fifth studio album, 1989, Swift has continued to write and publish five more albums: Reputation (2017), Lover (2019), Folklore (2020), Evermore (2020), and Midnights (2022). Furthermore, she has embarked on the journey of re-recording her initial six albums to claim full control of her artistic repertoire. Fans can expect the release of 1989 (Taylor's Version) in October 2023.
In April 2023, it was confirmed that Swift had ended her six-year relationship with Joe Alwyn during her record-breaking Eras Tour. Later that fall, she ignited speculation of a new romance with Travis Kelce, the tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, as she started spending time with him and attending his games.

Jessica Alba — Domino
Alba extended her acting career by starring in the action crime series L.A.’s Finest between 2019 and 2020. Later in 2023, she embarked on a new journey as a cohost of the reality series Honest Renovations on the Roku Channel, where deserving families receive transformative home renovations.
During August 2023, Alba, accompanied by her husband Cash Warren and their three children - daughters Honor (born in 2008) and Haven (born in 2011), along with son Hayes (born in 2017) - attended the Eras Tour.

Lily Aldridge — Frostbyte
Part of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video featured Lily Aldridge, who is one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Aldridge gained fame for her performances at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2013 and 2014. However, in 2018, she decided to retire from being an Angel. Since then, Aldridge has been busy with the launch of her own fragrance line called Lily Aldridge Perfumes. In 2019, she also started her own YouTube Channel.
Aldridge joined fellow attendees Gigi Hadid and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy for The Eras Tour performance in Nashville, Tennessee in May 2023. Aldridge and Swift share a mutual friend in Hadid, and their brief whirlwind romance came to an end just a month later.

Cindy Crawford — Headmistress
Crawford solidified her legendary status by joining forces with Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista in the 2023 docuseries "The Super Models" on Apple TV+.
Although it remains uncertain if Crawford has recently reconnected with Swift or witnessed her live performance, her daughter, Kaia Gerber, attended the Eras Tour in August 2023 alongside her boyfriend, Austin Butler.
“Incredibly cathartic magical perfect night," Gerber captioned a clip from the Los Angeles show shared via her Instagram Story.

Cara Delevingne — Mother Chucker
Delevingne's acting career has thrived after her brief appearance as Mother Chucker in the "Bad Blood" video. She has since starred in notable films such as Suicide Squad (2016), Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets (2017), and Her Smell (2018).
In 2022, Delevingne took on the role of Gomez's romantic interest in the second season of Only Murders in the Building. During an interview on E!'s web series, While You Were Streaming, she described their onscreen kiss as "fun."
"Who wouldn't want to kiss Selena? It was absolutely hilarious. It's just one of those things, especially when you're close to someone, you feel comfortable and can have a lot of fun with it."
Delevigne has maintained a friendly relationship with Swift as well. She went to a performance on Swift's Eras Tour in March 2023 and was later spotted with the "Anti-Hero" singer at Margaret Qualley and Jack Antonoff's wedding rehearsal dinner in Long Beach Island, New Jersey, that August.

Lena Dunham — Lucky Fiori
Following the conclusion of Dunham's HBO show, Girls, in 2017, her acting credits expanded to include appearances in the television series American Horror Story: Cult (2017) and the Quentin Tarantino film Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (2020). Additionally, she continued to pursue her directing career with Sharp Stick (2022) and Catherine Called Birdy (2022).
Dunham ended her relationship with Antonoff, Swift's longtime musical collaborator, in 2017 after dating for five years. There were speculations about a possible strain in Dunham's friendship with Swift following the breakup. However, these rumors were debunked in 2021 when Swift participated as a bridesmaid in Dunham's wedding to musician Luis Felber.
To mark her 37th birthday, Dunham attended a performance of the Eras Tour in Philadelphia in May 2023.

Selena Gomez — Arsyn
Since her altercation with Swift in the music video for "Bad Blood," the former star of Disney Channel has faced numerous challenges. Last year, Gomez courageously disclosed her battle with bipolar disorder, a diagnosis she openly discussed in her documentary released in 2022, titled Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me.
The renowned singer of "Lose You to Love Me" has confronted adversities pertaining to her physical well-being as well. In 2017, she underwent a kidney transplant, graciously donated by actress Francia Raisa, to address complications arising from lupus.
Notwithstanding the trials she has endured, Gomez has persistently pursued her acting and music endeavors. In 2021, she embarked on her role in the Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. Additionally, in 2020, she unveiled her third studio album, Rare.
Swift has stood by Gomez's side through all the highs and lows. In March 2023, Gomez accompanied her younger sister, Gracie, to attend the Eras Tour.
"Thank you, bestie, for allowing me and my sister to experience your enchanting, euphoric, and extraordinary world. I'm proud to call you a friend! Love you endlessly," she posted on Instagram, along with pictures from that evening.

Ellie Goulding — Destructa X
Following her appearance as Destructa X in the iconic video, the talented singer, known for her hit single "Lights," continued to make waves in the music industry. She went on to release three more studio albums: Delirium in 2015, Brightest Blue in 2020, and Higher Than Heaven, set to be released in 2023. In 2019, she tied the knot with Caspar Jopling, and in 2021, their family joyfully expanded with the arrival of their son Arthur.
The current status of Goulding and Swift's friendship remains uncertain, as they have not been seen publicly interacting for quite some time. Speculation among fans suggests that Ed Sheeran, who is a close friend and collaborator of Swift, may be a factor in the apparent distance between the two women.
Addressing long-standing rumors, Goulding debunked claims that she cheated on Sheeran with Niall Horan in February 2023. She also clarified that Sheeran's 2014 song "Don't" was not inspired by their alleged relationship. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Goulding revealed that the speculation surrounding her connection with Sheeran caused significant emotional distress.
She went on to express her envy towards her friends who were able to freely experience casual relationships and the typical escapades of being in their twenties, away from prying eyes. Meanwhile, every action she took was scrutinized and any misstep was amplified. This constant public criticism caused her to grapple with feelings of being a terrible person, despite her self-awareness that it was not true.

Gigi Hadid – Slay-Z
Hadid has been successful as a model and started cohosting the Netflix reality competition show Next In Fashion with Tan France in 2023. In 2020, she became a mother to daughter Khai with her then-boyfriend Zayn Malik. They split up in the subsequent year.
Hadid has remained close friends with Swift. Speaking to InStyle in April 2023, the model praised Swift's cooking skills, stating, "Taylor Swift is an amazing cook and I adore her." She specifically mentioned her love for Swift's bolognese sauce and chili.
She expressed, "Being cooked for is truly delightful. And when your friends also value those intimate moments and understand the significance of making time for them, that's when you begin to form deep connections with your friends. It's because both of you are committed to creating those unforgettable moments." Swift and Hadid demonstrated their strong bond once again during a night out in New York City in June 2023.

Mariska Hargitay — Justice
Hargitay is still going strong portraying Olivia Benson on Law and Order: SVU. She praised Swift’s Eras Tour performance after attending a Nashville stop in May 2023.
“Thank you, incredible and astonishing @taylorswift, for your enchantment. It is an extraordinary privilege to be immersed in your dazzling, glowing, influential, and delicate wonderland,” Hargitay expressed in an Instagram clip shared from the concert. “How do you create an atmosphere where 70,000 people transform into an intimate living room experience? Hunt joined Victoria's Secret as an Angel in the year that the "Bad Blood" video was released, and she continues to hold that title to this day. Karlie Kloss — Knockout
Kloss was once Swift’s closest friend of the bunch. They even appeared on the cover of Vogue together in 2015.
For years, people had been telling us that we should meet. I recall makeup artists and hair stylists saying, "Doesn't she look like Karlie? They would be perfect friends. They're so similar," Swift shared with the outlet.
Rumors about the strength of their friendship started circulating in 2016 when Kloss mentioned in an interview with Sunday Times Style magazine that Kim Kardashian had been kind to her in the past. This comment came shortly after Swift's highly publicized conflict with Kardashian and her then-spouse Kanye West.
Kloss refuted rumors about any long-standing animosity between her and Swift. However, their once unbreakable bond seemed to have deteriorated when Swift chose not to attend Kloss and Joshua Kushner's second wedding celebration in 2019. (Kloss has since had two sons, Elijah and Levi, born in 2021 and 2023 respectively, with Kushner.)
Though neither Kloss nor Swift have openly acknowledged the end of their friendship, some fans speculate that Swift alluded to the drama in her song "It's Time to Go," a bonus track from her January 2021 release, "Evermore."
Swift sings on the track, revealing the shocking truth that her sister's true nature is nothing like she appeared to be, crushing her twin-like image from dreams. Kloss attending an Eras Tour show in Los Angeles in August 2023 was particularly surprising, considering their intricate history and rumors of a past romantic involvement.

Kendrick Lamar — Welvin Da Great
Following his appearance on the remix version of “Bad Blood” and its accompanying music video, the rapper proceeded to launch two additional studio albums, namely Damn (2017) and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (2022).
Before collaborating, Swift expressed her admiration for Lamar, stating in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone that Lamar's song "Backseat Freestyle" was her primary listening choice during her first summer in New York City.
As for Lamar, he later commented on the positive atmosphere during their collaboration on "Bad Blood." In a 2017 interview on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show, Lamar mentioned that working with Swift had excellent chemistry, requiring only a few takes in the studio.

Ellen Pompeo — Luna
In May 2023, Grey's Anatomy concluded its nineteenth season, which also marked the departure of Pompeo as a full-time cast member. However, she will remain involved as an executive producer of the show and continue to lend her signature voiceovers.
Pompeo made an appearance at a Las Vegas, Nevada Eras Tour performance in March 2023. After the show, she shared a photo of herself with her daughters, Stella and Sienna, captioning it as, "That's a wrap @Taylorswift."

Although it has been a while since Serayah has been spotted with Swift, she warmly reminisced about a memory she shared with the singer during a Rolling Stone interview in 2022.

Additionally, she showcased her talent as Emily Dickinson in the AppleTV+ series Dickinson (2019-2021) and as Kate Bishop in the Disney+ miniseries Hawkeye (2021).
In addition to her acting career, Steinfeld has also ventured into music, releasing two EPs: Haiz in 2015 and Half Written Story in 2020. Reflecting on her experience in the "Bad Blood" music video, the actress shared her insights during a September 2023 interview with People.
“I mean, whenever Ms. Swift rings you up, you dash towards the telephone,” she expressed, considering it a prestigious "privilege" to be a part of. “I’m literally in hot pursuit of the dates for her Eras Tour, attempting to determine when I can attend.”

Zendaya has also appeared in other films such as The Greatest Showman (2017), Malcolm & Marie (2021), and Dune (2021).
