Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood' Music Video Cast: Where They Are Now?

In a bygone era, long before the present, Taylor Swift brought together a group of models, actresses, and musicians to create the iconic “Bad Blood” music video. This captivating piece made its debut at the Billboard Music Awards in May 2015.

Swift's closest friends, such as her undying ride-or-die Selena Gomez and her former friend Karlie Kloss, were among the notable stars featured.

Reflecting on her experiences in her 20s, the Grammy winner acknowledged the importance of distinguishing between lifelong friendships and situationships as a valuable lesson she had learned.

"We’re in our young twenties!" draws people together, forming groups that can feel like chosen family. These connections may last a lifetime or be limited to an important phase. Swift acknowledges that as we grow, relationships can be outgrown, leaving behind friendships but preserving cherished memories.

Part of Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood" music video featured Lily Aldridge, who is one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. Aldridge gained fame for her performances at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2013 and 2014. However, in 2018, she decided to retire from being an Angel. Since then, Aldridge has been busy with the launch of her own fragrance line called Lily Aldridge Perfumes. In 2019, she also started her own YouTube Channel.

Aldridge joined fellow attendees Gigi Hadid and The 1975 frontman Matty Healy for The Eras Tour performance in Nashville, Tennessee in May 2023. Aldridge and Swift share a mutual friend in Hadid, and their brief whirlwind romance came to an end just a month later.

Cindy Crawford — Headmistress

Crawford solidified her legendary status by joining forces with Naomi Campbell, Christy Turlington, and Linda Evangelista in the 2023 docuseries "The Super Models" on Apple TV+.

Although it remains uncertain if Crawford has recently reconnected with Swift or witnessed her live performance, her daughter, Kaia Gerber, attended the Eras Tour in August 2023 alongside her boyfriend, Austin Butler.

Notwithstanding the trials she has endured, Gomez has persistently pursued her acting and music endeavors. In 2021, she embarked on her role in the Hulu series Only Murders in the Building, alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short. Additionally, in 2020, she unveiled her third studio album, Rare.

Swift has stood by Gomez's side through all the highs and lows. In March 2023, Gomez accompanied her younger sister, Gracie, to attend the Eras Tour.

Mariska Hargitay — Justice

Hargitay is still going strong portraying Olivia Benson on Law and Order: SVU. She praised Swift’s Eras Tour performance after attending a Nashville stop in May 2023.

Martha Hunt — HomeSlice

Hunt joined Victoria's Secret as an Angel in the year that the "Bad Blood" video was released, and she continues to hold that title to this day. In November 2021, she gave birth to her daughter Emery, with her fiancé Jason McDonald. It is uncertain if Hunt and Swift are still friends, as they haven't been seen together for a while.

Karlie Kloss — Knockout

Kloss was once Swift’s closest friend of the bunch. They even appeared on the cover of Vogue together in 2015. 

For years, people had been telling us that we should meet. I recall makeup artists and hair stylists saying, "Doesn't she look like Karlie? They would be perfect friends. They're so similar," Swift shared with the outlet.

Rumors about the strength of their friendship started circulating in 2016 when Kloss mentioned in an interview with Sunday Times Style magazine that Kim Kardashian had been kind to her in the past. This comment came shortly after Swift's highly publicized conflict with Kardashian and her then-spouse Kanye West.

Kloss refuted rumors about any long-standing animosity between her and Swift. However, their once unbreakable bond seemed to have deteriorated when Swift chose not to attend Kloss and Joshua Kushner's second wedding celebration in 2019. (Kloss has since had two sons, Elijah and Levi, born in 2021 and 2023 respectively, with Kushner.)

Though neither Kloss nor Swift have openly acknowledged the end of their friendship, some fans speculate that Swift alluded to the drama in her song "It's Time to Go," a bonus track from her January 2021 release, "Evermore."

Swift sings on the track, revealing the shocking truth that her sister's true nature is nothing like she appeared to be, crushing her twin-like image from dreams. Kloss attending an Eras Tour show in Los Angeles in August 2023 was particularly surprising, considering their intricate history and rumors of a past romantic involvement.

Kendrick Lamar — Welvin Da Great

Following his appearance on the remix version of “Bad Blood” and its accompanying music video, the rapper proceeded to launch two additional studio albums, namely Damn (2017) and Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers (2022).

Before collaborating, Swift expressed her admiration for Lamar, stating in a 2014 interview with Rolling Stone that Lamar's song "Backseat Freestyle" was her primary listening choice during her first summer in New York City.

As for Lamar, he later commented on the positive atmosphere during their collaboration on "Bad Blood." In a 2017 interview on Howard Stern's Sirius XM show, Lamar mentioned that working with Swift had excellent chemistry, requiring only a few takes in the studio.

In May 2023, Grey's Anatomy concluded its nineteenth season, which also marked the departure of Pompeo as a full-time cast member. However, she will remain involved as an executive producer of the show and continue to lend her signature voiceovers.

Following her time on Empire, Serayah (birth name Serayah McNeill) pursued acting in a variety of television films such as Hip Hop Family Christmas (2021) and The Sound of Christmas (2022). Additionally, she took on a starring role in the 2022 BET original series Kingdom Business.

Although it has been a while since Serayah has been spotted with Swift, she warmly reminisced about a memory she shared with the singer during a Rolling Stone interview in 2022.

“My first time [trying tequila] was taking shots with Taylor Swift actually,” she told the outlet with a laugh.
