Da Brat and her wife Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart are making their return to the small screen with a five-part special of their reality series, Brat Loves Judy. The upcoming special, titled The Baby Special, is set to premiere on Thursday, November 30, and will offer a personal look into Da Brat and Judy's journey into parenthood. At ages 49 and 41, the couple will share their insights and experiences in this upcoming series.

The couple, who got married in February 2022, welcomed their first child, a son named True Legend, in July. (Judy is also the mother of daughter Deja and sons Jordan and Byron Jr. from previous relationships.)

Judy shared on Instagram, "True Legend Harris-Dupart @truelegendhd was born on 7/6/23 at 8:30pm, weighing 7lbs 8oz, and measuring 20 inches long. He is as perfect as ever. We are overwhelmed with love and very grateful for the blessing of our bundle of joy. This journey has been more amazing than we could ever have imagined."

In August 2021, the third season of the couple's reality series premiered on we TV, documenting their quest to conceive a child. Da Brat revealed her pregnancy on Sherri Shepherd's talk show, Sherri, in February, presenting the host with a T-shirt proclaiming, "I'm going to be an auntie."

Three months later, Da Brat discussed her IVF experience and decision to use a white sperm donor in an interview with Yahoo Life. She expressed the belief that the world is becoming more blended and expects to see more children being born through alternative methods like IVF. She also stated that despite the limited choices in such alternative methods, she is confident that her son will be fine.

The rapper admitted that she had not anticipated the difficulty of the IVF process. She explained that the doctors had identified fibroids and polyps in her uterus, which required multiple minor surgeries to remove. The fibroids, while still present, were not hindering her ability to conceive.

In May 2022, Judy underwent the egg retrieval process but encountered a major setback when she developed ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome, which caused her ovaries to swell and become painful. Additionally, she developed an enlarged heart and had to be put on blood thinners due to the strain on her heart from pumping excess blood.

After their initial failed transfer, Judy and Da Brat conceived a child in November 2022 despite the challenges they faced. Don't miss the premiere of Brat Loves Judy: The Baby Special on we TV, airing on Thursday, November 30 at 9p.m. ET.
