Warning: Mortal Kombat 1 Crashes Threaten to Overwhelm Hard Drives - Players Beware!

Mortal Kombat 1 crashes on PC are wreaking havoc on players' hard drives, as the game's crash logs rapidly consume massive storage space, leaving gamers frustrated and their computers overwhelmed

Mortal Kombat 1 players on PC have recently noticed that crash logs are taking up a significant amount of space on their hard drives. Despite being highly anticipated and receiving critical acclaim upon its release in September, Mortal Kombat 1 is not without its technical issues, which have been occurring since the game's launch. While the game has been well-received by critics, with high ratings on Metacritic for both consoles and PC, an issue specific to the PC version may have gone unnoticed.

Crash reports in Mortal Kombat 1 on PC can consume up to approximately 1 GB of data per crash. The problem was highlighted by X-Azeez on Twitter, who shared screenshots from LouRagou, a Steam user who had previously expressed frustrations about this issue. Although the size of crash reports may vary, they can increase over time, unbeknownst to most gamers. This can lead to severe repercussions, as demonstrated by one individual who shared a screenshot of crash reports totaling a whopping 41.6 GB. Thankfully, there is currently no evidence to suggest that consoles are also affected by this problem.

Regrettably, Mortal Kombat 1 players are faced with more than just the aforementioned issue. Recently, a glitch was discovered on the PS5 that caused input malfunctions in both Practice and Tournament modes of Mortal Kombat 1. However, it appears that only a small number of players are experiencing this problem.

Given the platform-specific challenges mentioned, many players are eagerly awaiting the developers' solutions to these issues. Fortunately, the developers have a commendable track record in resolving such problems. A notable example is from Mortal Kombat 1, where a game-breaking glitch favored Player 1 by providing an advantage in fights. The glitch facilitated specific combos for Player 1, creating an imbalance with their adversary. This issue garnered significant attention, but the developers successfully rectified it within a few days. With the current awareness of the problem, hopefully, a similar prompt resolution can be expected this time. Mortal Kombat 1 is currently available on PC, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X/S platforms.
