Riot Games is preparing to enhance the experience of Valorant, a free-to-play tactical hero shooter, with a range of new changes and quality-of-life improvements in the upcoming Episode 7 Act 3 patch. With a dedication to continuous innovation and refinement, Valorant, known for its challenging gameplay, will receive additional features and a significant overhaul of its competitive mode, Valorant Premier.

Valorant Premier, introduced a year ago, is a competitive gameplay mode designed to elevate the standards of top-tier Valorant competition. Leo Faria, Valorant's Head of Esports, expressed his vision for the mode as the future gateway to the VCT Challengers leagues, potentially replacing the current open qualifying system. In Valorant Premier, players form teams and compete in scheduled matches throughout a season, offering a unique pathway to professional play. Each season concludes with a playoff featuring the division's top teams, ultimately crowning a Division Champion.

An exciting update is coming to the Premier mode in Valorant, set to be released on October 31. The latest announcement promises dynamic changes and improvements to invigorate the mode. Premier Practice will be introduced, allowing teams to participate in rehearsal matches on non-match days that mimic the Premier match format. The outcome of these matches will not impact one's Premier Score. The Playoff Seeding system has also been strategically revamped to ensure that teams with higher Premier Scores receive advantageous seeding in the Playoff Tournament bracket.

The Enrollment Update now offers a one-and-a-half-day registration window, giving Valorant teams formed within this timeframe the flexibility to recruit and join Premier at any time. To enhance the user experience, the Playoff Queue now includes a 15-minute seeding phase to improve matchmaking. During this crucial period, teams must confirm their participation and remain in the queue. In terms of gameplay, Timeouts have been adjusted, with each match now providing one timeout per side, as well as an additional timeout during Overtime. Finally, the Premier Crests, which are symbolic and aesthetic representations of a team's performance, are set to evolve and adapt throughout the entire Stage, acting as a badge of honor and recognition.

Riot Games continually strives to enhance Valorant, demonstrating their unwavering commitment to improving the game based on user feedback. Regular updates, such as the upcoming overhaul of Valorant Premier, showcase Riot Games' dedication to refining the player experience.

Currently, Valorant can be played on PC.
