Tatooine

Cantonica

It is high time for the beloved sandy Outer Rim planet to make its triumphant return to the Star Wars universe in an enthralling open world adventure. First introduced in A New Hope, where Luke Skywalker's fateful encounter with the wise old Ben Kenobi kick-starts his thrilling journey, Tatooine has become a recurring setting in various Star Wars media. Most recently, it made an appearance in Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures. This desert planet teems with smugglers, criminals, and a motley crew of scum and villainy, as Kenobi so aptly describes it. The exciting news confirms that Kay Vess will cross paths with the infamous Jabba the Hutt, and Ubisoft has made a promise to avid fans that Tatooine will be completely explorable.

First introduced in the novelization, The Legends of Luke Skywalker, and later making its on-screen debut in the Sequel Trilogy film, The Last Jedi, this arid planet is the residence of the bustling casino city, Canto Bight, which Finn and Rose ventured to. Nestled within the Corporate Sector of the Outer Rim, Cantonica initially served as a haven for smugglers and assorted criminals seeking refuge. Subsequently, the opulent and influential constructed Canto Bight, transforming Cantonica into a playground exclusively for the wealthy and powerful. As Canto Bight is situated on Cantonica, it is plausible that Kay Vess will have the opportunity to partake in various mini-games during her visit.

Kijimi

Originally featured in the novelization Force Collector and later incorporated into The Rise of Skywalker, Kijimi is an icy, mountainous planet located in the Mid Rim territories. Following the collapse of the Galactic Empire, Kijimi became a refuge for outlaws and lawless individuals. Historically, the Dai Bendu, a religious group, governed Kijimi, and they established a monastery in the heart of what would eventually become Kijimi City. There is limited information available about Kijimi during the reign of the Galactic Empire, although it is known that the Spice Runners of Kijimi were active during that time. When Kay Vess visits Kijimi, she might encounter the Spice Runners.

Akiva

Toshara

Akiva, a remote humid jungle planet in the Outer Rim, made its first appearance in the novelization Aftermath. Outlaws will mark the first time Akiva is depicted on-screen. During the Clone Wars, the CIS (Confederacy of Independent Systems) secretly built a massive droid factory beneath the planet's surface. In the events of Outlaws, the Empire indirectly controls Akiva through the Satrapy of Myrra, which enforces the Empire's laws and collects taxes. The capital city Myrra is plagued by the notorious crime lord Surat Nuat and his gang, potentially offering Kay Vess the opportunity to embark on side missions on Akiva.

A brand-new planet, Toshara, specially created by Ubisoft's Massive Entertainment for Star Wars Outlaws, will be introduced to the Star Wars galaxy within the game. Toshara, an arid windswept moon situated in the Toshaal System in the Outer Rim, appears to be under the control of the Imperial forces. Despite their presence, Toshara serves as a haven for crime lords and syndicates. Moreover, players will have the opportunity to visit a settlement named Jaunta's Hope, where they can enhance their weapons and undertake new missions.
