Discover the ultimate guide to locating weapon supply crates in Reactor, a thrilling mission in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Unlock new loadout weapons and conquer the Gearhead achievement/trophy Dominate the battlefield with precision and strategic advantage
Infinity Ward has revolutionized the way players acquire and customize equipment for missions in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 campaign. Introducing Open Combat Missions, which are reminiscent of Warzone or DMZ, players are now required to scavenge and locate gear within the mission area to expand their arsenal. Once a weapon, field upgrade, or tactical equipment is discovered, it will permanently unlock at the beginning of the campaign mission, allowing players to tailor their loadout. Additionally, these items are accessible across different difficulty levels. This means that players can complete the mission on Recruit or Regular difficulty, collect all the supply crates, and subsequently harness the weaponry during a later replay on Hardened or Veteran difficulty.
West Side
Before entering the reactor area in the mission Reactor, players have the opportunity to locate all 29 weapon supply crates. By utilizing the spotter scope, crates can be tagged and their locations marked indefinitely.
A-2 Supply Crate
The initial crate players can discover is located at the far left side of the mission map within a building at A-2. This particular building has only one door, which is stuck and cannot be accessed from outside. Notably, the crate can be spotted from the exterior through a metal gate, facilitating the identification of the correct building.
Only a handful of enemies are stationed around this building. Eliminate them and proceed to the roof, where an entrance into the building can be found. Once inside, open the crate to acquire a Silenced Holger 556, an assault rifle equipped with a mid to long-range thermal scope.
C-6 Supply Crate
Located at the pinnacle of the radio tower in sector C-6, there lies a crate that holds a coveted KV Inhibitor sniper rifle. This remarkable weapon boasts a versatile zoom feature; however, it lacks a suppressor, meaning that discharging it will undoubtedly alert nearby adversaries. Exploiting the advantageous position, atop the tower, allows you to effectively employ the spotter technique, systematically tagging opponents and vital resources on your map. It is crucial to note that marking supply crates will ensure their precise location is saved on the tac-map.
B-2 Supply Crate
The roof of the large warehouse in B-2 holds another crate, which can be reached via an ascension line located on the south end. Although there are no ladders or stairs leading to the roof, players can ascend the line to discover the box. Inside, they will find the coveted Incendiary MCW assault rifle.
D-4 Supply Crate
The next crate players can find is at the top of the circular stone structure in D-4 near the first Konni Helicopter that needs to be destroyed.
Use the wooden slats to ascend to the summit of the structure and locate the supply crate positioned on a leftward ledge. Within this crate, players will discover a Silenced COR-45, a semi-automatic pistol renowned for its consistent firing rate.
D-6 Supply Crates
A supply crate containing a Snapshot Pulse can be located in D-6 within the fire station garage. The area is guarded by multiple enemies. To reach the crate, approach the fire station from the south and enter through one of the windows on the first floor. Take out the first enemy in the hallway.
Afterwards, proceed to enter the firehouse garage by climbing through the next available window. Eliminate the two enemies near the laptop. Once all enemies have been neutralized, locate the supply crate situated to the right of the laptop table. Open the crate to discover the Snapshot Pulse.
Players can locate an additional supply crate in the fire station at D-6, but before accessing it, they must ascend to the highest point of the building. Ascend to the rooftop and proceed to the second level. Climb the crates to reach the third level and enter the belfry through a window. Inside, there will be a grate on the floor with a grenade placed next to it.
Look down through the opening to observe an explosive barrel and a chair wedged beneath a door handle. Utilize either the grenade or the explosive barrel to eliminate the chair and unlock the door below. Subsequently, players should consider leaping out of one of the windows on the West wall and descending to the first floor.
Climb through a window to reenter the fire station, where the previously locked area on the right will now be accessible. Inside, players will discover an extensive assortment of armor plates and ammunition, alongside a supply crate that contains a Minigun, which can be added to the mission arsenal.
Northeast Corner
E-2 Supply Crate
In E-2, atop the expansive warehouse neighboring the electrical generators, adventurers will stumble upon the forthcoming crate. Ascending either end of the warehouse will grant them access to the roof. Upon arrival, players will uncover a Sidewinder assault rifle equipped with a versatile hybrid sight, seamlessly transitioning between a thermal scope and a canted reflex sight.
G-2 Supply Crate
In G-2, inside an office building, lies the next crate. While the building grants access to a single room, the innermost chamber remains securely locked. Players can catch a glimpse of the weapon supply crate through one of the room's windows, but finding an entry point on the first floor proves fruitless.
Use the nearby truck as a means of ascending to the rooftop and gaining access to the locked room by way of one of the skylights. Within this room, on a couch, players will find the coveted supply crate containing a Basilisk revolver equipped with armor-piercing ammunition.
E-3 Supply Crate
On the border of areas 3 and 4, situated at the north end of the circular compound in E, players will come across another supply crate. To reach it, ascend the stairs within the circular area until reaching the very top. The supply crate can be found on a metal platform close to an ascension line. By opening this particular supply crate, players will obtain a Heartbeat Sensor to enhance their arsenal for the current mission.
G-3 Supply Crate
Just north of the reactor, at the border of G and H, and 3 and 4 on the grid map, players will come across an armory housing a supply crate. Here, players have the opportunity to replenish their ammunition and supplies, and they can seize the chance to obtain the highly sought-after Anti-Armor Rounds field upgrade from the supply crate.
E-4 Supply Crate
There is an additional supply crate located in the Northwest corner of the circular compound on the second floor, specifically in E-4. Adjacent to the zipline, players will discover the crate containing a Silenced Expedite shotgun.
H-3 Supply Crates
There is a supply crate located in the H-3 compound beside the Konni helicopter. Eliminate all threats within the compound and locate the crate positioned directly to the West of the helicopter. Opening the crate will reveal a Hybrid STB 556 assault rifle equipped with a high-powered scope and an under-barrel grenade launcher.
Players will find a second crate to the Southeast of the helicopter in the open compound area that will give players a PILA launcher.
Southeast Corner
E-5 Supply Crate
In the center channel of the E-5 compound, players will come across two supply crates positioned side by side. However, caution must be exercised as this area is guarded by a minimum of 6 or 7 enemies. Additionally, a sentry turret is strategically placed at the southern end of the lane where the crates are situated.
If players possess a stun stick, they can effectively render the sentry turret inoperative by throwing it at the device with a slight time delay. Within these two crates, players will discover an HCR 56 assault rifle fitted with a holographic sight, as well as an Incendiary Haymaker semi-automatic shotgun featuring dragon breath rounds.
F-5 Supply Crate
Players will discover yet another supply crate in this compound located directly to the East at F-5. Ascend the stairs and carefully survey the East ledge, directing your gaze towards the reactor. Here, players will stumble upon the supply crate, housing a Munitions Box within.
F-6 Supply Crates
There is a supply crate on the roof of F-6 building, located right beside the loadout crate. Players can access the roof using the ladder on the West side of the building. Inside the supply crate, they will discover a Silenced Vel 46 SMG.
There is a supply crate located inside the building, but unfortunately, both entrances are blocked and there is no access through the roof. To gain entry, players must locate a window overlooking the room and either throw a grenade or shoot at one of the chairs, thereby disabling the doors.
Once the chair is destroyed, players can then enter the room and unlock the supply crate to acquire the Armor Box for the Reactor mission arsenal.

D-4 Supply Crate
In the vicinity of 4 and 5 on the border, players will come across another crate situated near point D. Located right behind the initial Konni helicopter, eliminate the helicopter and the accompanying troops before advancing to access the crate. This particular supply crate will introduce the RGL-80 grenade launcher to your mission arsenal.
G-4 Supply Crates
Located at G-4 inside a cargo truck, lies a crate containing a prized possession – the Incendiary MTZ Interceptor. This remarkable semi-automatic marksman rifle comes equipped with a holographic sight to enhance precision and accuracy.
On the Northwest corner of the roof of the reactor in the G-4 building, players will find another supply crate that will add the Explosive Crossbow to the mission arsenal.
G-6 Supply Crate
On the southern side of the G-6 compound rooftop, adjacent to the reactor building, lies a supply crate. This particular supply crate is strategically positioned to face one of the Konni helicopters. Opening it will reward players with a Signal 50 sniper rifle equipped with a versatile infrared scope.
Located conveniently inside the building just south of the reactor in G-6, players will come across an additional supply crate. Opening this crate will reward them with the formidable Incendiary Bryson 800 shotgun. To locate this crate, simply head north from the Konni helicopter in G-7, towards the LTV that features a sentry gun mounted on the back.
Dodge the sentry gunshots and proceed to the right, passing the front of the vehicle. Enter through the double doors on the south side of the building in G-6. Once inside, players will discover the supply crate.
From this crate, head through the door to the right towards H-6 and find another crate with a Silenced Lachmann Sub inside.
In the warehouse to the northeast of the Konni helicopter, players can locate another crate at the southwestern corner of the G-6 grid on the tac-map. The crate can be found indoors, near the west wall, on the ground. Opening it will reveal a Fennec 45 SMG, which will be a valuable addition to the mission arsenal.
G-7 Supply Crates
Two crates can be discovered side by side at the border of F and G in 7, concealed behind one of the Konni helicopters. After eliminating any threats in the vicinity, players will be able to access the crates, containing a Cronen Squall, an assault rifle equipped with a versatile holographic/thermal ACOG scope, as well as a Holger 26 LMG, which will be valuable additions to their mission arsenal.
Crane Supply Crate
Right at the F-5 location, atop the crane, a crate awaits. Players can swiftly reach this spot by deploying their parachute immediately after deployment and gliding towards the crane. The crate rests in the center of the upper railway. Once opened, it will grant access to an Incendiary FJX Imperium sniper rifle, empowering the arsenal.
Players will now have several options for weaponry to select when dropping in to replay the mission Reactor.
