In addition to an array of captivating quests designed to deepen connections with the Valley's residents, players can also engage in daily and cumulative tasks known as Dreamlight Duties. These fulfilling tasks reward players with a special currency called Dreamlight, which can then be utilized to unlock new biomes and obtain crucial crafting recipes.
How Do Seasonal Dreamlight Duties Work
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, players can complete a variety of Dreamlight Duties throughout the year. While most of these duties are everyday tasks that can be done at any time, there are a few special ones that are tied to specific in-game holidays. One example is the Halloween-themed duty called "Trick or Treat."
Unlike some other holiday duties that require specific items or objectives only available during the event, players can still complete the "Trick or Treat" duty even after Halloween has passed. Here's what you need to do to finish this task.
How to Complete “Trick or Treat”
To fulfill the "Trick or Treat" task, players must give 10 different villagers a piece of regular Candy. This will reward them with a festive Mickey Mouse Pumpkin furniture item. Initially, players have access to most of the villagers needed for this task. However, more villagers can be unlocked by obtaining Dreamlight and completing quests in their respective realms. Progress in Dreamlight Duties accumulates, allowing players to continuously contribute towards completing the task as they unlock new villagers.
It's important to clarify that for the "Trick or Treat" task, players must use regular Candy and not the colored candy such as Purple Candy, Red Candy, and Green Candy that is collected during the event. These special seasonal candies are specifically needed for completing the "A Three-Course Halloween Meal" task.
To craft 10 pieces of Candy, the player needs to collect 10 of any ingredients in the Sweets category:
