Sproings in the Twilight Forest offers no hidden exits, but that doesn't mean it's a simple course. Despite its two-star difficulty rating, it's arguably one of the most challenging stages to fully conquer in the first world of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, all because of its unique lighting.
As the name implies, Sproings in the Twilight Forest is set during the twilight hours, causing the foreground of the stage to be shrouded in darkness. This presents a challenge for players of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, as it can be tough to spot and reach the Wonder Flowers.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest 100% Completion
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Purple Flower Coin #1
To obtain a green checkmark for Sproings in the Twilight Forest, players must reach the summit of the flagpole, in addition to discovering three Flower Coins and two Wonder Seeds. Acquiring the purple coins can be somewhat challenging due to the obscured foreground of the course. Moreover, the initial Wonder Seed is easily overlooked unless players execute a specific action at a particular location.Locating the silhouette of the initial Sproings in the Twilight Forest Flower Coin should pose no difficulty for players. However, the actual process of reaching it is not as straightforward. To accomplish this, players must employ the nearby Koopa Troopa's shell to demolish a block positioned to the right of the platform beneath the tree. The direction in which they initially send the shell is insignificant, as it will ultimately rebound to the right, subsequently removing the block.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Purple Flower Coin #2
To reach the second purple coin in Sproings in the Twilight Forest, players must execute several wall jumps to access an elevated area. Although the two walls they are jumping off are not visible, players can utilize the blue flower as a reference point to determine their location.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Wonder Seed #1
To locate the Wonder Flower in the course, players can search inside one of the Sproings. If they possess the Elephant suit power-up, they have the option to eliminate it using their trunk. Otherwise, they will need to time their jump to land on its head when the spring recoils. To discover the Wonder Seed, players must continue moving towards the right in their elongated form until they reach a platform with two trees. By pressing down on the D-Pad between these trees, the stage will compress and the Wonder Seed will descend from above.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Purple Flower Coin #3
The final Sproings in the Twilight Forest Flower Coin can be located while progressing through the Wonder Flower section. Players should remain vigilant for an area where they can crouch down and proceed beneath the platform occupied by Goombas and Sproings. This pathway will directly lead them to the ultimate purple coin.
Sproings in the Twilight Forest Wonder Seed #2
Completing the stage will reward players with the second Sproings in the Twilight Forest Wonder Seed. To reach the top of the flagpole, a running spin jump off of the platform just before the pole should be executed, aiming to bounce off one of the Sproings. If necessary, the Parachute Cap badge can be utilized to gain a slight boost in distance while maintaining altitude.
