Players will encounter this intriguing elven lady for the first time during the Shattered Sanctum in Act 1.

How to Romance Minthara in Baldur's Gate 3

Regrettably, choosing to romance Minthara comes with significant repercussions for the player's party. Opting for a relationship with Minthara entails betraying both the Tieflings and the Druids, and siding instead with the Goblin army. Evidently, this decision leads to numerous complications in the dynamic between the protagonist, Wyll, and Halsin.

For this romance to happen, players must be willing to make numerous morally ambiguous choices. However, despite this, some may find it worthwhile in the end.

Upon entering the Shattered Sanctum, players must rely on their intelligence to steer clear of any confrontations with goblins or hobgoblins. Once they come across Minthara, it is crucial that they refrain from mentioning killing her, disclose the Grove's whereabouts, and agree to assist her in the raid on the Druids Grove. Players must then unite with her and the goblins in their endeavor to defeat both the Tielfings and Druids.

When given the option, choose the first option: Obey and open the gate for Minthara and her goblin army.

After the Druids Grove is obliterated, players can head back to the Secluded Chamber. Minthara will be present and willing to arrange a meeting with the player at their camp.

During this encounter at the camp, players should inform her, "Yes, Minthara, I am committed to you." Subsequently, during the night, players have the option to select spending quality time with Minthara by clicking on their bedroll.

Choose "Do as she instructs" for the subsequent prompt. Next, opt for "I desire you." Minthara will accompany the player to their quarters, culminating in a romantic encounter. Nonetheless, to avoid potential aggression from her afterwards, players must engage in a Persuasion check to "Discover her yearnings." Please bear in mind that these methods to initiate a romance with Minthara are valid for the Early Access version only and are subject to change upon the game's official release in August 2023.
