Unveiling the Star-Studded Lineup: Hollywood Icons and Chart-Topping Artists Take Over Las Vegas Strip!

Discover the star-studded lineup of Las Vegas residencies! From Jennifer Lopez and Adele to Britney Spears and Lady Gaga, this article unveils the hottest celebrities taking over Sin City Get ready for unforgettable performances and epic entertainment!

Celebrities are dominating Las Vegas! It's undeniable that Sin City is bursting with activities, but with some of the music industry's most talented artists having residencies, it's even more enticing to plan a trip.

Whether you're a fan of dazzling performances or prefer the rock scene, this iconic destination caters to everyone's preferences. Take Jennifer Lopez, for instance, who graced the stage at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for nearly two years, from January 2016 to September 2018. When she accepted the opportunity in October 2014, rumors circulated that the deal was worth a staggering $350,000 per night.

"This is the show I've always dreamt of creating," tweeted the ex-American Idol judge in May, as she embarked on the planning of her dynamic and diverse residency, promising an extraordinary level of energy.

Achieving astonishing success, Lopez's 120 concerts generated a staggering $101.9 million in revenue. Her residency became the highest-selling among Latin artists and the sixth most profitable in the history of Las Vegas residencies.

Numerous pop superstars have emulated Lopez's path by showcasing their exceptional performance skills at casinos. Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears have all had successful runs at highly sought-after theaters, and in November 2021, Adele joined the esteemed list of residency artists.

Following the release of her fourth album, 30, the singer of "Set Fire to the Rain" confirmed her Weekends With Adele concert series after months of speculation with a tweet that exclaimed, "See you at Caesars in Vegasss."

Adele, the Grammy winner, has reserved a four-month slot at Caesar's Palace Hotel's Colosseum. This esteemed venue has a maximum capacity of 4,100 and is expected to be completely sold out every weekend from January 2022 to April 2022.

Shortly after dismissing rumors about her Las Vegas takeover, Adele confirmed her residency. In November 2021, when speaking to Rolling Stone, she stated that there were no opportunities to book due to limited availability. Additionally, the concerns surrounding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic seemed to have influenced Adele's decision-making process.

"It's too unpredictable, dealing with all the regulations and everything," she expressed to the magazine. "I want my audience to feel safe and not anxious when attending my show. Plus, I also want to ensure that I don't contract Covid."

During her conversation with John Mayer, Adele admitted that she would most likely refrain from starting a global tour in support of 30 due to the potential risks involved.

"I would love to. Surprisingly, I was eager to go on tour, even though I typically dislike it. ... Last time, I gradually adjusted to it and even performed in stadiums. I don't mean to sound spoiled, but it's easier because there are fewer shows and you can reach a larger audience while staying in one place," she stated in November 2021. "Releasing an album this year and then touring it in 2023 doesn't feel right to me."

Before confirming her residency, the singer of "I Drink Wine" showcased her talent in a CBS concert special called Adele: One Night Only, held at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. She followed up with An Audience With Adele, a live filming at the London Palladium that aired on ITV in the U.K.

Jennifer Lopez, Adele and More Celebrities With Las Vegas Residencies

Celebrities are dominating the scene in Sin City! Las Vegas is undeniably filled with a plethora of activities, but with some of the music industry's most talented artists now having residencies, there's even more incentive to plan a visit.

Whether you prefer a captivating show filled with music and dance or are more inclined towards the rock genre, this legendary destination has something to offer everyone. Take Jennifer Lopez, for instance, who showcased her exceptional talent at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for a remarkable two-year period, performing from January 2016 to September 2018. The deal she struck in October 2014 for this gig was rumored to be valued at an astounding $350,000 per night.

"This is the show that I have always envisioned creating," tweeted the former American Idol judge in May as she embarked on the planning process for her dynamic and diverse residency. Lopez's remarkable achievement saw her generate a staggering $101.9 million after successfully performing 120 concerts. As a Latin artist, her residency became the best-selling among her peers and placed as the sixth highest-grossing Las Vegas residency in history.

Many pop superstars, including Lady Gaga, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears, have taken inspiration from Lopez and showcased their impressive performing skills at casinos. Now, Adele is adding her name to the list of residency artists, with her concert series, Weekends With Adele, set to take place at Caesars in Vegas. After the release of her fourth album, 30, Adele confirmed the news with a tweet that read, "See you at Caesars in Vegasss," exciting fans who had been speculating for months.

Adele, the Grammy winner, has secured a four-month residency at the Colosseum in Caesar's Palace Hotel. With an official capacity of 4,100, the venue is expected to be completely sold out every weekend from January 2022 to April 2022.

This announcement follows Adele's denial of rumors about her taking over Las Vegas, which she addressed in an interview with Rolling Stone in November 2021. She stated that there were no available opportunities to book at that time. Additionally, the uncertainties surrounding the ongoing coronavirus pandemic seemed to have influenced Adele's decision-making process.

"It's too unpredictable, with all the rules and everything," she expressed to the magazine. "I want my audience to feel safe at my show. Plus, I have no intention of contracting Covid."

During her conversation with John Mayer later that month, Adele admitted that she wouldn't likely commence a global tour in support of 30 due to the perceived risks involved.

"I would love to. It's actually quite shocking for me because I usually dislike touring. ... Last time, I gradually embraced it and even performed at stadiums. Without sounding entitled, it's more convenient because there are fewer shows, allowing me to reach a larger audience while staying in one place," she stated in November 2021. "Releasing an album this year and then touring it in 2023 doesn't sit well with me."

Prior to confirming her residency, the songstress performed a CBS concert special, titled Adele: One Night Only, at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles. She then followed it up with An Audience With Adele, a live performance at the London Palladium which was broadcasted on ITV in the U.K.
