Currently there is no official release date for Suicide Squad Isekai.

There has been a lot of buzz on social media about the potential release of the new anime series in Winter 2024. Nonetheless, Crunchyroll News revealed at Anime Expo 2023 that Suicide Squad Isekai will be hitting the streaming platform sooner than later, so it might just be arriving earlier than anticipated.

Suicide Squad Isekai plot

Although the specific plot details remain unknown, Studio Wit has officially announced that the Joker and Harley Quinn are set to be the central characters in the upcoming anime. The infamous duo will find themselves on an isekai journey, while Amanda Waller dispatches the Suicide Squad to bring them back.

Popular characters including Deadshot, Peacemaker, King Shark and Captain Boomerang are also expected to appear throughout the series.

Suicide Squad Isekai’s creative crew

The official cast for the series is still a secret, but we have important details about the crew. In partnership with Warner Bros., Wit Studio, the team behind Attack On Titan, Vinland Saga, and Spy x Family, will bring the new anime series to life. Industry veteran Eri Osada is the director, with Tappei Nagatsuki and Eiji Umehara writing the script. Akira Amano of Psycho-Pass and Katekyo Hitman REBORN! will handle character design, while Kenichiro Suehiro will compose the music.
