The Pokemon Most Likely to Be Starters in a Legends Hoenn Game

The design of Hoenn reflects these characteristics, evident in landmarks like Mt. Chimney and the hot springs of Lavaridge Town, as well as the numerous water routes. These elements also influenced the choice of starter Pokemon in previous versions of the region.

Considering Hoenn's subtropical climate, it would be fitting for Bulbasaur, a Grass-type starter, to be featured in a Pokemon Legends Hoenn game. Although Bulbasaur is typically associated with the first generation of Pokemon, its appearance, specifically the large plant bulb on its back, gives it a tropical vibe. According to its Pokedex entries, Bulbasaur requires ample time napping under the sun to absorb energy through its bulb, making Hoenn's climate an ideal habitat for this Pokemon.
