The synopsis presents "Forgotten Love," a timeless tale featuring Rafal Wilczur, a highly regarded surgeon professor. After being deserted by his wife and becoming the victim of a robbery, he suffers memory loss due to the injuries sustained. This story is based on the renowned Polish novel called Znachor (also known as The Quack), authored by Tadeusz Dołęga-Mostowicz. Previously, Znachor was adapted into films twice, first in 1937 by director Michał Waszyński, coinciding with the novel's publication, and later in 1982 by Jerzy Hoffman.
