Diablo 4 features five distinct areas within the currently explorable region of Sanctuary known as Estuar. While players usually begin their journey in the Fractured Peaks, Scosglen often becomes the second important destination for those below Level 30. This lush region serves as the homeland of the Druids and houses notable bosses such as Donan in his Firebreak Manor, with Cerrigar acting as the central hub.

Though players naturally end up here in Act 2 of Diablo 4, there are numerous side objectives in Scosglen that contribute towards the completion of the Scosglen map and renown. These include the Scosglen Altars of Lilith, Strongholds, countless Cellars, as well as unique elite encounters and build-defining Aspects that entice players of all classes (not just Druids) to embark on its numerous side dungeons.

All Altars of Lilith in Scosglen

When discovered, Altars of Lilith provide a minor yet enduring enhancement, eliminating the need to rediscover them with different characters. These enhancements, such as a modest increase of +2 to a stat, +5 Max Obols, or a solitary Paragon Point, may seem trivial individually. However, with a staggering total of 160 Altars throughout the game, the cumulative effect becomes tremendously significant in terms of power acquisition.

In Scosglen, there are a total of 34 Altars of Lilith. To efficiently gather all of the Altars in Scosglen, it is recommended to begin from the Fractured Peaks entrance in the southeastern part of the zone. Proceed west, then make a loop towards the east, and travel in a general counter-clockwise direction across the zone. Once you reach the western coast, retrace your steps and head towards Cerrigar to collect any remaining Altars.

Scosglen Map Dungeon Locations

In Diablo 4, there are both story dungeons and side dungeons. However, only the side dungeons contribute to the overall map completion. Story dungeons only appear during the campaign and are essentially unique experiences. On the other hand, completing side dungeons in Diablo 4 grants players valuable Aspects for their Codex. Notably, Scosglen offers a multitude of potent Aspects to acquire.

All Strongholds In Scosglen

Scosglen boasts a collection of 25 side dungeons, each with its unique challenges and rewards. However, unlocking a handful of these dungeons requires the prior completion of an associated Stronghold. It is highly recommended to tackle these Strongholds when the World Tier reaches level 3 or 4. By doing so, players can reap the benefits of increased experience points due to higher spawn rates and the inevitable level difference encountered within these dungeons.

Each zone in Diablo 4 features a trio of Strongholds that players can conquer in order to either restore settlements or eliminate the influence of malevolent beings within the vicinity. These Strongholds present a concise story-driven quest, are consistently two levels higher than the player's current level, and provide a notable 100 Renown when accomplished within the corresponding region.

Where To Find Every Scosglen Waypoint

The three Strongholds in Scosglen, namely Moordaine Lodge, Tur Dulra, and Hope's Light, are integral locations within the zone. Situated in the northeast, Moordaine Lodge offers a mystical retreat. In the east, Tur Dulra holds great significance for the Druid class. Finally, off the far northern coast, Hope's Light stands tall as a guiding lighthouse.

Discovering Waypoints in Diablo 4 has dual benefits: facilitating quick and convenient travel as well as granting Renown. While certain Waypoints are readily available for activation without any requirements, a few can only be accessed once a Stronghold or another objective has been successfully completed.

In Scosglen, there are a total of eight Waypoints. Most of them can be unlocked simply by locating them, with the exception of the Waypoint situated at Tur Dulra. This particular Waypoint is solely accessible upon successfully conquering the Stronghold bearing the same name.

All Scosglen Cellar Locations

It is advisable to complete the Cellars while progressing through the game's main campaign, as they may not hold much value during the endgame, particularly at World Tier 3 and 4.

Each section of Diablo 4 consists of an exclusive region designated for World Boss encounters. World Bosses in Diablo 4 are known to spawn in a fairly predictable pattern, and there are numerous websites dedicated to monitoring their spawn times, such as Diablo4.life, Helltides.com, and MapGenie. By successfully defeating all three World Bosses on a weekly basis, players are rewarded with a special Cache that provides a higher probability of obtaining top-tier loot.

In Scosglen, the designated World Boss arena is known as Caen Adar. Located just north of the Corbach Waypoint, travelers can conveniently fast travel to this Waypoint and proceed straight towards the north, reaching Caen Adar within a minute's ride. Alternatively, those approaching from Cerrigar can follow a northwest path through the Emerald Chase, then change direction eastward before reaching the Carrowcrest Ruins.

Unique Bosses In Scosglen Map

In the expansive world of Diablo 4, players will come across a variety of distinctive Elites. These Elites, numbering around twelve, possess individual names and offer exciting encounters. Upon vanquishing these formidable foes, players will be rewarded with a Rare item accompanied by enticing descriptive text. These items follow a consistent set of attributes, although the specific rolls may vary with each drop. Notably, certain Rares serve as exceptional foundations for Aspect infusion, heightening their desirability and making the hunt for these rare Elites all the more worthwhile.

Four unique Elite bosses can be found in Scosglen: Lord Eonan in the western Deep Forest, Garbhan Ennai in the central area of The Downs, Blind Odwyn in the western Shrouded Moors, and Gaspar Stilbian in the southwest Highland Wilds.
