Unveiling the Mysteries of Palia: A Comprehensive Quest Guide

After successfully finishing the Like a Bird quest in Palia, players will be rewarded with a paraglider inspired by the Breath of the Wild game. This useful tool enables players to navigate their surroundings more efficiently. The following step in the storyline is to fulfill the upcoming quest known as Echoes of the Unknown.
Jina, the same non-playable character who bestowed the Ancient Battery Quest upon players, assigns this new quest. Its primary objective is to explore recently discovered ruins by utilizing the paraglider to cross a substantial gap. However, once inside the ruins, players will find limited guidance towards locating and completing the puzzle. Detailed instructions on how to proceed are outlined below.
Get to the Top Floor of the Ruins
After crossing the water and reaching the ruins with the Palia Glider, players will encounter multiple staircases and doors that appear to be non-functional. The search for the "glowing runes" mentioned by Jina becomes challenging as there is no apparent way to reach the upper floors. However, to access these floors, players must utilize a geyser to propel themselves upwards.
Within the ruins, resembling an Animal Crossing-like MMORPG, there is a rocky hole filled with water near one of the staircases. Initially, it may seem insignificant. However, if players pause within the pool of water, a geyser will activate, launching them into the air. This enables them to deploy their glider and glide to the second floor.
How to Solve the Puzzle
Once Palia players are on the upper floor in the ruins, there will be a sliding block puzzle. It's not a challenging one, but here is the solution in case anyone has some trouble with it:

Once the sliding puzzle is successfully solved, players will be one step closer to completing the quest. To wrap things up, they simply need to glide back to the opposite side of the water and collect the chest located below Jina's position, provided they have enough inventory slots available. Afterward, players should make their way back up to Jina and share the exciting findings from inside the ruins. This interaction will mark the end of the Echoes of the Unknown quest.
