While these four ladies, originally five until Bambietta became incapacitated, have made appearances throughout BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War, they have mostly been shown briefly. However, in the 8th episode of BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 – The Separation, there was a scene that extended their encounter in the manga, giving it more prominence. Candice Catnipp, Giselle Gewelle, Meninas McAllon, and Liltotto Lamperd are a group of Sternritters who are always seen together.

The four women in the upper ranks of the Quincy army share a strong bond and stand out from their colleagues in terms of their tight-knit dynamic. In episode 8, titled "The Headless Star," they had a prolonged interaction with Ichigo Kurosaki, who is regarded as the Number One Special War Power among the Shinigami ranks. Now, let's delve into the abilities of this group formerly known as "The Bambies".

Sternritter G Liltotto Lamperd – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2

Liltotto Lamperd, from the BLEACH series, stands out as one of the shortest characters. Despite her petite stature and youthful appearance, her Schrift, known as "G" - The Glutton, is quite menacing. With the ability to dislocate and elongate her jaw into a snake-like appendage, Liltotto can literally take a bite out of her adversaries. The sin of gluttony, one of the infamous "Seven Deadly Sins," is often associated with the perversion of human instincts. Liltotto effortlessly decapitates multiple unnamed 11th Squad officers using this unique ability. Interestingly, her Schrift seems to have cursed her with an insatiable appetite, as she is frequently seen eating. While not directly linked to her powers, Liltotto maintains a deadpan and monotonous demeanor, finding pleasure in using derogatory language when interacting with Candice.

Her apparent emotional detachment could be attributed to the idea that gluttony arises from an individual's attempt to fill a void within themselves. Her Vollständig, named Gagael, displays characteristics resembling bear trap-like jaws, which adorn her like bracelets, alongside wing formations mimicking jaws. Her attacks bear whimsical names combining cutlery terms, such as "Spork" and "Spife." It is worth noting that names ending with the suffix "-el" are considered Theophory, signifying the inclusion of a deity in a name. Specifically, in Christianity, these names adopt the structure of "X of God." In Japanese, Gagael is written as 神の飢え ("Kami no Ue"), translating to "Hunger of God."

Sternritter P

Sternritter P Meninas McAllon – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8

Meninas McAllon is a polite and seemingly nice Sternritter known for her contradicting abilities and appearance. Gifted with the Schrift "P" – The Power, Meninas possesses immense physical strength. While her attacks against Ichigo were ineffective, she effortlessly sent him flying with just two strikes. It is worth noting that this Ichigo had recently undergone intense training from the Soul Society's most formidable agents. Despite her cute and feminine outward appearance, complete with pink hair, a frilly skirt, gloves, and leg warmers, Meninas shows a ruthless side when dealing with her enemies. Her Vollständig, Pornipora, is written in Japanese as "神の力" (Kami no Chikara), which translates to "Power of God." In this form, she gains pink reishi wings and puffy accessories, utilizing special moves involving dumbbells and batons. If "hands" were personified as a Sternritter, Meninas McAllon would be the perfect embodiment. A suitable name for Meninas that reflects her strength would be Ezekiel – "God is strong."

What sets Meninas apart is her seemingly absent-minded demeanor that contrasts with her noticeable annoyance at being underestimated. This was evident during her defeat of Rukia in the initial phase of the Thousand-Year Blood War in BLEACH. Even in "The Headless Star," when Ichigo foolishly attempted to approach Yhwach amidst a group of Quincies, Meninas displayed her irritation. Considering the notion that individuals gain what they lack from Yhwach, it is plausible that someone like Meninas, who presents herself stereotypically feminine and may come across as spacey, has experienced a lifetime of being undervalued. Her disdain for being dismissed as inconsequential contradicts her chosen appearance and traits.

Sternritter T

Sternritter T Candice Catnipp – BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2 Episode 8

Sternritter Z

Candice Catnipp, the most fiery of the Bambies, is deeply concerned about her appearance and takes great care to dress provocatively. She wields the Schrift "T" – The Thunder, granting her the ability to unleash formidable lightning bolts that annihilate her foes, as she demonstrated when she confronted Kenpachi. Candice exhibits an intense determination to take down Ichigo, particularly fueled by Liltotto's observation that he poses the greatest threat to Yhwach's plans. Her Vollständig, Balbarriel, is adorned with lightning bolt imagery, including her wings, and her Sklaverei technique manifests these bolts as markings on her skin. The Japanese translation of the name "Balbarriel," written as 神の雷霆 ("Kami no Raitei"), corresponds with the concept of a "Thunderstorm of God," linking it closely to Candice. Candice and Liltotto maintain a consistently antagonistic relationship, regularly exchanging vulgarities.

In the eighth episode of BLEACH Thousand-Year Blood War Part 2, we are introduced to Sternritter Z Giselle Gewelle. Known as "The Zombie" by Yhwach, Giselle possesses a chilling ability that allows her to manipulate her enemies by utilizing her own blood. The catch is that she can only control them once they have launched an attack on her. With her delicate appearance and distinctive black hair, which resembles antennae, Giselle seems harmless. However, her lighthearted demeanor masks her true power and lack of seriousness. The ability to control both the living and the dead is an unsettling trait for any antagonist, but Giselle's implementation of her skills is both amusing and eerie. In her battle against Ichigo, she amazes us by effortlessly restoring the flesh of deceased individuals to heal her comrades, as well as herself, thanks to her exceptional regenerative ability.

Giselle showcases her affinity for the living dead through an array of accessories and battle techniques. To bring down Ichigo, she conjures a squad of reishi skeletons. These chibi-like skeletons reflect Giselle's playful demeanor, which masks her sadistic nature. Interestingly, her Vollständig, Azholbiora, deviates from the conventional naming methods observed by others. In Japanese, it translates to "Kami no Shi" or "Death of God". The closest corresponding associations could either be Samael, a Judaic demon who was once married to Lilith and referred to as the angel of death and the true name of Satan; or Azrael, the Islamic angel of death whose name signifies "Helper of God" and bears similarities to "Azholbiora".
