Unveiling the Location of the Lighter in Amnesia: The Bunker

With this humble tool, players can manipulate the environment and use objects such as torches and Molotov cocktails. However, obtaining it requires traversing the ominous, shadowy passageways of the bunker to uncover a locker code.

How to Get the Code for The Locker In Amnesia: the Bunker

Players in this June 2023 horror game must search for codes to unlock lockers, which are located on the backs of dog tags. To obtain the lighter, players must locate the dog tag of A. Giraud, which can appear in two possible locations with a randomized code each time. Fortunately, finding Giraud's tag is relatively simple compared to other challenges in the game.

Potential Location 1: Forman's Quarters

One potential location for finding the dog tag is in the Forman's Quarters. These quarters can be found after the officer's quarters, by taking a left out of the office when heading from the generator. Once players head down the ramp, they should turn left and enter the tunnel labeled as "Officer's Quarters" and "maintenance." After passing the officer's bunks, players should turn right before reaching the stairs. This will lead them to the area where rats tend to congregate in front of the Wine Cellar. Using gasoline and a flare can be an effective way to get rid of them, but players should be cautious as this may also draw the attention of the monster. Alternatively, players can try to run past the rats, but they should be mindful of taking too much damage in the process.

Head down the corridor and keep going until you come across a wooden door with a "Rats! Don't Enter!" sign. Once you've reached this point, turn left and climb the staircase to the top floor. Look for the desk in the room at the top of the stairs and locate the dog tag.

Potential Location 2: Rats Room

If you're having trouble locating the dog tag in the Forman's Quarters, there's another option to try. Head over to the Rat room, but proceed with caution as it's marked with "Don't enter!" signs and is rigged with a dangerous trap. Be aware that you won't be able to disarm tripwires yet, so make sure you're prepared.

Players will have to navigate through a terrifying environment filled with spine-chilling horror monsters, some of which they may have to confront head-on while others require them to remain hidden. In order to progress, players must make their way inside the rat room and search for the dog tag on the desk located to the left of the door.

To access the Mission Storage room, players must first collect the dog tag. Once they have the tag, they can use the vent located between the locked doors to enter the room. The vent emits a red light, making it easy to spot. Players can climb up the boxes in front of the vent, remove the grate, and enter the room.

To obtain the lighter in Amnesia: the Bunker, locate A. Giraud's locker and enter the correct code in the inventory menu. The locker can be found in the code section. Once opened, the lighter will be found on the top shelf. Amnesia: the Bunker is available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X.
