Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian dropped a surprising revelation about the activities they liked to do as teenagers.
During a recent episode of The Kardashians, which premiered on Thursday, October 5th, Khloé Kardashian revealed a surprising secret about her older sisters at Century City mall.
According to Khloé, 39, Kourtney and Kim used to contact 900 numbers (premium rate telephone numbers) and arrange meetings with gentlemen at this very location. Khloé shared this intriguing information with the cameras while filming at her new Good American store.
Kim, 42, confessed in a private conversation that she and Kourtney had a specific approach. "We used to engage with these guys when we were 15, and then they would suggest meeting up at Blockbuster or the mall. But when the time came, we would intentionally not show up," she confessed. "We even took Polaroid pictures of these guys whom we stood up at the mall. I actually have a whole book of Polaroids dedicated to them."
Curious to know if Kourtney still remembered the phone number they used, Kim contacted her. Kourtney assured Kim that she still knew the number "by heart." Kim, in the midst of filming her popular Hulu reality series, decided to make a call.
The automated service message declared, "Welcome to [redacted], where mischief brings delight. Your live chat commences momentarily."
Viewers were treated to a glimpse of Kim engaging in conversation with an unidentified individual before abruptly terminating the call. "Hello, I'm Samantha. May I inquire about your name and place of residence? I currently reside in Ventura County," she stated before promptly concluding the conversation. "Unfortunately, I must save that phone number."
Following a heated exchange between Kim and Kourtney that aired during the season 4 premiere, the sisters found themselves reminiscing about their past. The conflict initially arose in the previous season when Kourtney accused Kim of exploiting her wedding to Travis Barker for personal gain. As tensions escalated, their issues were exasperated upon watching confessionals from season 3.
In a September episode, Kim candidly addressed the situation to the cameras, stating, "To be honest, last season was incredibly tough for us. However, we managed to move past it and have a good time. We thought we had resolved everything through open communication. But then, when we watched the edits for our show, I heard what she was saying about me, and she heard what I was saying about her. It reignited our anger and brought up a flood of emotions."
During the episode, Kim and Kourtney had a tense conversation addressing their distance.
"I understand where you're coming from. I feel like we both tend to overthink things and that's what gets us worked up," Kim expressed to Kourtney. "But ultimately, it's up to you to make your choices and decisions. However, I do believe we should discuss it further. I got upset when I realized that nothing was resolved at the wedding. We didn't even have a chance to talk about it."
During the escalating discussion, Kourtney accused Kim of being responsible for the current rift between them.
"You're fixating on trivial details because your self-centered mind can't fathom anything else," Kourtney expressed. "You despise anyone else stealing the spotlight. Even at my wedding, you failed to find joy. From the moment you arrived until the moment you departed, all you did was complain. That's the crux of it. Disregard your own inability to be happy; you couldn't find happiness for me. You couldn't bear the fact that I was in the limelight while you weren't."
Kim, however, refused to accept the blame. "Why do you hold such a negative opinion of me? I want you to reflect and uncover the reasons behind your intense hatred and anger towards me. Because none of this is true. I genuinely celebrated your happiness," she argued. "Why would I not be thrilled for you? It seems like you have a strong grudge against us. You've become a completely different person, and it's a topic of discussion among all of us."
When Kim claimed that Kourtney's loved ones were worried about her, the founder of Poosh burst into tears. "Find something better to do with your life. I don't engage in secret conversations about anyone," she declared. "Does that satisfy you? You're dragging my friends, my children, and everyone else into this fight. You're nothing but a merciless witch, and I utterly despise you."
Kourtney expressed, "After watching the edits, numerous thoughts emerged within me. During the call, it seemed like Kim was utilizing any available means to cause me harm. It appeared as though she was manipulating everyone against me, and we both reached a point where we were ashamed of our actions."
Following the premiere of season 4, certain segments of the phone call gained widespread attention. In light of this, Kourtney shared a glimpse of her group chat, where her friends confirmed that they were not engaged in another text conversation with her family.
Simon Huck wrote, "I constantly receive direct messages from these trolls, who falsely accuse me of being involved in the other chat. It is evident that Kim betrayed all of us by implicating us, even though none of us were genuine friends in the chat."
