Unfortunately, there are scalpers who are already selling the Constellation Edition of Starfield at exorbitant prices, exploiting the high demand for this limited-edition bundle surpassing its availability. The bundle includes a collector's edition Starfield watch and was initially revealed during Bethesda's June Starfield Direct, a one-hour gameplay showcase that kicked off the pre-orders for the game.
Most retailers who offered Starfield pre-orders quickly sold out of the Constellation Edition of the game shortly after the June 11 event. Although some distributors have restocked since then, the majority of them have also sold out of the limited-edition bundle in the second wave.
It seems that a number of these pre-orders have been purchased by scalpers, who are now selling the Constellation Edition of Starfield at significantly inflated prices. As of now, there are more than 150 listings on eBay, with the cheapest one being priced at $328. Only around two dozen are priced below $400, with the majority falling in the $400-$550 range. These scalper prices further diminish the already questionable value of Starfield's $300 Constellation Edition, which includes a digital timepiece that lacks many basic features of a modern smartwatch.

The bundle not only includes the device, but also a watch case, Constellation cloth patch, and a steelbook that doesn't have anything to put inside. Instead of a physical copy of the game, the package comes with a digital download code. Although the Constellation Edition of Starfield is a limited-edition item, Bethesda has typically released collector's bundles in multiple waves. Since the official Bethesda Gear Store has only restocked the bundle once, there may be a chance for those who have not been able to order directly from the developer to do so in the coming weeks.
In the meantime, Constellation Edition pre-orders are still available at normal prices from Best Buy and GameStop. Best Buy has labeled the bundle as a high-demand product that is likely to go out of stock soon. However, it is uncertain if these listings are up-to-date, especially considering that some existing Starfield Constellation Edition pre-orders may have been canceled in July.
The bundle includes a digital download code for the Premium Digital Edition of the upcoming RPG game, Starfield. This edition is valued at $99.99, or $104.98 if purchased separately from the base game's Premium Edition upgrade. It offers additional content such as the Shattered Space expansion, which will not be available at launch. One significant advantage of this version is that it grants a week-long Starfield early access. Starfield is set to launch on September 6 for PC and Xbox Series X/S.
