Hasbro has unveiled an exciting lineup of new figures for its Star Wars Vintage Collection. This includes highly anticipated characters like Darth Revan, Grand Admiral Thrawn, Pre Viszla, a collection of Imperial Officers, and even a Chewbacca figure designed specifically for Life Day. Each figure showcases unique details and holds significant meaning within the franchise. Amongst them, Darth Revan stands out as he is widely recognized as one of the most beloved Star Wars characters.

For those unfamiliar with the Vintage Collection, it originated in 2010 and pays homage to the original Kenner toy series that was popular from 1978 to 1984. Though there were figures with similar styles prior to the Vintage Collection (such as the Original Trilogy Collection in 2004 and Saga Collection in 2006), this series has become a sanctuary for stylized figures like Luke Skywalker's lightsaber construction based on a deleted scene from Return of the Jedi, Darth Malgus from the Expanded Universe, and an array of other captivating characters. After a brief hiatus, the Vintage Collection made a triumphant return in 2018 and has continued to flourish ever since.

The new releases in Hasbro's Collection consist of iconic names within the Star Wars franchise. Darth Revan's tremendous impact throughout Star Wars history is universally recognized, and his significant role in KOTOR 1 earned him a level of prominence comparable to Luke or Darth Vader. Grand Admiral Thrawn requires no formal introduction, as the Chiss character holds great importance in Star Wars Legends, with numerous books dedicated to him. Following Disney's adoption of the Star Wars canon, Thrawn made a comeback with a new book trilogy, appeared in Star Wars Rebels (which serves as the inspiration for this figure), and is set to appear in Disney's Ahsoka series, portrayed by Lars Mikkelsen.

Additionally, the new figures introduced to this collection include Pre Visla, the governor of Mandalore's moon Concordia during the Clone Wars and leader of Death Watch. The collection also features the Imperial Officers Admiral Piett and General Motti, alongside others. Meanwhile, Chewbacca, a well-known character in the Star Wars universe and a favorite among collectors, stands out in this collection due to his Life Day attire.
