Obtaining these Mythic Items requires players to engage in solving puzzles associated with the Antiquities skill line. Despite the time commitment, the unique effects that these items possess make the endeavor worthwhile.
Among the Mythic Items, the Esoteric Environment Greaves stand out as a remarkable piece of equipment. These greaves offer a substantial boost to personal Defenses, but only under specific conditions. Although the release of the Necrom chapter is still in its early stages, these Mythic greaves exhibit great potential for defensive builds.
What Do The Esoteric Environment Greaves Do?
The Esoteric Environment Greaves offer a unique ability to reduce incoming damage by half as long as players have more than 50% Stamina. However, this effect comes at the cost of reducing the player's Stamina by 968 when they are hit while above 50% Stamina. Additionally, the effect has the potential to activate up to three times per second.
Tanks will find the Esoteric Environment Greaves particularly advantageous compared to other specializations. As a Mythic piece of Leg armor in Elder Scrolls Online, these greaves are the sole item required to activate their bonus. However, it's important to note that equipping the Esoteric Environment Greaves will occupy a Set slot that could have been used for another armor piece. Furthermore, it's worth mentioning that only one Mythic bonus can be active simultaneously.
Esoteric Environment Greaves Mythic Leads Locations
In ESO, Mythic items cannot be obtained as individual drops in the world. Instead, players need to level up their Antiquities skill to Rank 7 or higher and search for Leads. These Leads can be solved using the Scrying skill and they point to specific areas where Dig Sites are located. Players must then head to these Dig Sites, complete the Archaeology game, and receive one of the five pieces needed to obtain a Mythic item.
Once all five Leads have been Scryed and all five pieces have been collected, the Esoteric Environment Greaves will automatically be assembled in the player's inventory. Each Lead is located in a different area, particularly for this specific Mythic item, players will need to explore various dungeons in Tamriel outside of the Necrom DLC.
