I'm currently four episodes into watching Apples Never Fall, and I must say, I am completely hooked. What specifically about your character drew you to be a part of this project?

Georgia Flood plays a complex and troubled character in the show. It's hard to give too many details without spoiling it, but she's not your typical, straightforward character. She's unlike any role I've played before, which was a challenge I was eager to take on.

Given the complexity of her character, what did you find to be the most important factor in understanding her, especially when she has so many different layers to her personality?

As Georgia delved into her character's backstory, she carefully considered the kind of person she wanted to portray, incorporating input from the rest of the cast and crew. One particular event in Georgia's life struck a chord with her, allowing her to empathize with her character's emotional motivations and actions, although she keeps this detail a secret with a playful laugh.

Georgia Flood: The process of working on set is actually a lot of fun. It's like a rehearsal process where we discuss dynamics and check in with each other before filming. We have open discussions with directors like Dawn, Chris, and Melanie about the meaning behind our actions and how it impacts the show.

We always talk about what information can be shared and what should be kept secret. Sometimes, like with Sam, we didn't discuss it much but everyone was very helpful in giving suggestions and ideas to work with. I'm grateful for their input and hope I was able to offer the same in return.

From what I've seen on screen, you've really impressed me with how you've embraced all the ideas they've given you! So, out of all the big-name stars in the cast, who were you most thrilled and maybe a little anxious about acting opposite on screen?

Georgia Flood: I would say it was probably Annette, since I have the most scenes with her. I was definitely a bit nervous, mainly because I'm a huge fan of hers.

We had lunch together and spent a lot of time on set. During breaks between scenes, while waiting for lighting adjustments, we naturally got to know each other. As actors, we had plenty of time to chat and bond, so our friendship developed organically.

Georgia Flood admitted that she often found herself breaking character during certain scenes on the show. She mentioned that this happened many times, especially when acting alongside Annette, who is very funny and would make her laugh a lot. Despite trying to maintain a serious expression, Georgia would sometimes struggle to hold back her laughter. However, she found that letting go of that nervous energy could actually help her feel more at ease, turning it into a positive experience.

Georgia Flood: I'm excited for people to discover that not everything is as it seems about Savannah.

It has been tough for you, right? How challenging is it for you to keep quiet while handling the press for this? Some individuals find it satisfying to keep information to themselves, while others despise it.

Georgia Flood: I don't think so.
