Orange Houseleek is a unique flower found exclusively in the Sunlit Plateau of Disney Dreamlight Valley. Unlike other materials that can be found in various biomes, Dreamers will face difficulties in locating Orange Houseleek due to its restricted growth in a specific biome.

Although the flower is abundant in the area, players may feel limited in their collection efforts as a significant portion of the Sunlit Plateau is inaccessible. As a result, Dreamers can only gather Orange Houseleek from one side of the plateau until they find a way to remove the obstacles.

How To Unlock Sunlit Plateau

Unfortunately for players, the Sunlit Plateau comes with a hefty price tag of 7,000 Dreamlight, which is quite difficult to collect given that most Dreamlight Duties only reward around 15 to 250 Dreamlight. However, there is a silver lining as players will also gain Scar as a resident in the Disney Dreamlight Valley, along with new cooking ingredients, once they have fixed Goofy's Stall.

To access the Biome, players have two options: the Plaza and the Forgotten Lands. While the Plaza is free, the Forgotten Lands require a costly payment of 15,000 Dreamlight. Therefore, it is advisable for players to unlock the Biome from the Plaza. It is important to note, however, that accessing the location from the Forgotten Lands may result in encountering a blocked part of the Sunlit Plateau.

In addition to its other uses, the Orange Houseleek can be gifted to a friend if it is one of their favorite items of the day, or the Foraging material can be offered to a Critter to gain their trust and make them a companion.

The Golden Sunbird in particular seems to enjoy the Orange Houseleek. While Emerald Sunbirds, Red Sunbirds, and Turquoise Sunbirds can also be offered the flower to gain a few Friendship EXP, it's important to note that the Orange Houseleek is not their favorite.
