With Starfield reaching six million players within just one day of its official release, Bethesda's space RPG has become the studio's biggest launch to date. However, over a week has passed since this milestone, and more than a quarter of the game's player base on Xbox consoles and PC Game Pass have not yet unlocked the "For All, Into the Starfield" achievement. This achievement is typically obtained within an hour of gameplay and is awarded for entering space for the first time. Additionally, 13.3% of Starfield owners on Steam have also not obtained this achievement as of September 14.
It appears that the aforementioned percentages are skewed by a bug, as multiple fans on Reddit have reported being unable to unlock the game's introductory achievement. Interestingly, these reports have only come from PC Game Pass and Steam users, with no similar experiences shared by Xbox console owners. This suggests that the issue may be exclusive to PC, potentially affecting the Windows Store version of Starfield as well.
The exact scope of the reported bug remains unclear, but typically, this type of issue is relatively easy for developers to fix. Starfield, the space-faring RPG, has already received two updates this month, with the latest patch bringing it to version 1.7.29.
