The Boruto manga series has seen a significant shift in its storytelling focus since its inception. While the original Naruto series heavily featured Kekkei Genkai like Sharingan, Byakugan, and Rinnegan, the sequel has turned its attention to a seal known as Karma for accessing Otsutsuki powers.
Despite this shift, Byakugan users still exist in the Boruto series, although not all of them are alive. For example, Momoshiki Otsutsuki actively communicates with Boruto, despite having long been deceased.
Hence, here we shall take a look at every Byakugan user who is alive in the Boruto series.

Himawari Uzumaki and four other Byakugan users in Boruto series
1) Hiashi Hyūga

Known to fans as the head of the Hyuga clan, Hiashi Hyūga is not only the father of Hinata and Hanabi but also the grandfather of Boruto and Himawari. While he was portrayed as a strict character in the Naruto series, his personality has undergone a significant transformation in the Boruto series, as he now dotes on his grandchildren.
As for his Byakugan, in the anime, he is shown to be so extensively skilled at using the dojutsu that he can detect one's thoughts by using the same.
2) Hinata Hyūga

Hinata Hyūga, the previous heiress of the Hyūga clan, was initially considered unfit to inherit the position. Despite this, she persisted and became a skilled Shinobi. She mastered the use of the Byakugan and was even given the title of "Byakugan Princess" by Hamura Otsutsuki.
3) Hanabi Hyūga
In the latest series, Hinata has honed her skills with the Byakugan, allowing her to sense even the faintest chakra presence. Moreover, she has developed the ability to magnify her vision in order to detect small objects.

Hanabi Hyūga is the present heiress of the Hyūga clan. Due to her exceptional combat skills and mastery of the Byakugan, she succeeded Hinata as the clan's leader. Fast forward to the Boruto series, Hanabi has risen to the rank of jonin and now commands Team 15, comprised of Tsubaki Kurogane, Wasabi Izuno, and Namida Suzumeno.
4) Himawari Uzumaki
Hanabi was exceptionally adept at using the Byakugan, drawing comparisons to Neji. Toneri Otsutsuki even described her Byakugan as "very pure." This is why he specifically targeted her dojutsu to awaken the Tenseigan in The Last: Naruto the Movie.

Himawari Uzumaki, the daughter of Naruto and Hinata, has displayed remarkable potential, much like her brother. At a very young age, she was able to render her father, Naruto, unconscious. Additionally, she managed to awaken her Byakugan without any prior training.
Even Hiashi was astonished by the occurrence, since it was highly unusual for children her age to activate the dojutsu. By the age of 10, she had succeeded in awakening the eyes through sheer willpower. However, she struggled to maintain its activation for prolonged periods. Regardless, Daemon appeared to be intrigued by her potential, sensing an unidentifiable intensity emanating from her.
5) Toneri Otsutsuki

Toneri Otsutsuki, like other members of the Otsutsuki Clan, is recognized for possessing the Byakugan eyes. While other Otsutsuki Clan members featured in the series met their demise at the hands of the Shinobi, Toneri managed to survive by residing on the moon. He made a significant appearance in The Last: Naruto the Movie and has since remained inactive on the moon.
So, while he has yet to make his presence known to Boruto and the others, he still exists in the universe and also appeared near the beginning of the anime series.
Editor's P/S
As a dedicated fan of the Naruto and Boruto series, I am thrilled to see that the Byakugan, a powerful eye technique, continues to play a significant role in the Boruto manga. While the focus has shifted to the Karma seal and Otsutsuki powers, it's refreshing to know that Byakugan users still exist and contribute to the story.
The development of the Hyuga clan members, particularly Hinata, Hanabi, and Himawari, is particularly intriguing. Hinata's mastery of the Byakugan and her ability to sense even the faintest chakra presence showcases her growth as a shinobi. Hanabi's rise to the rank of jonin and her exceptional combat skills demonstrate her worthiness as the heiress of the Hyuga clan. Himawari's potential, despite her young age, is truly remarkable, and I can't wait to see how her Byakugan abilities evolve in the future.
