Discover the immersive world of Starfield where players can acquire and personalize their very own homes in the vibrant city of New Atlantis Unveil the secrets of this Bethesda game as you explore various rooms and embrace the allure of full properties Unleash your creativity and make your dream home a reality!

Starfield, like other Bethesda games, offers players a vast and immersive game world that is brimming with activities, rich lore, and captivating game mechanics. Similar to the Fallout series and Skyrim's Hearthfire expansion, players have the opportunity to buy or rent various homes throughout the Settled Systems, and there are multiple ways to acquire these properties. In fact, Starfield features a greater range of player homes compared to previous titles, each with its own unique style and location to cater to different tastes and preferences.

However, unlike Outposts, which are a distinct gameplay element, these properties are fixed in specific locations within the world and cannot be customized to the same extent as custom-built outposts. Nevertheless, certain properties owned by the player offer the ability to customize interior modules. This allows players to add helpful facilities like workbenches to enhance their adventures.

Rooms

In addition to purchasing their own place, players will have the opportunity to be loaned rooms by various characters throughout the game. These rooms serve as storage space and a place to rest and recover health. They are located in areas bustling with NPCs, offering chances for interaction and quests. However, unlike owned properties, customization is not available for these loaned rooms.

To gain access to the first room, players must join Constellation and speak with Noel at The Lodge, which is situated on the second floor next to the Common Room. Alternatively, players with the "Kid Stuff" trait can visit their parents' house in Pioneer Tower. This location provides a room and numerous facilities for players to utilize. To find Pioneer Tower, players need to travel to the far end of the Residential District in New Atlantis.

Full Properties

For players craving a more secluded and tailor-made gaming experience, there is also the option of renting or purchasing complete properties that can subsequently be personalized with an array of furniture and amenities. To acquire a house in New Atlantis, players must firstly attain citizenship within the United Colonies. This can be achieved by paying a visit to Tuala in the MAST district of New Atlantis, who will initiate the player into the United Colonies faction quest-line.

After being granted citizenship, players can visit the real estate agents at Aphelion Realty in New Atlantis. They will be presented with various housing options to purchase. The first apartment, located in the Well district of the city, costs 30,000 credits. Additionally, players can buy a small two-floor apartment or earn a large penthouse by completing the United Colonies quest-line. Those with the special "Dream Home" perk can also own a private home in the Olympus system, but it comes at a high price of 125,000 credits.

Starfield is currently accessible on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
