Starfield is filled with an abundance of missions and quests for players to uncover, with practically a side mission or activity at every turn in addition to the main story of the game. Some missions in Starfield are exclusive to certain factions, such as those that become available to players once they reach the headquarters of Constellation in the city of Jemison in New Atlantis.
As one of Starfield's many factions, Constellation is situated in a vast and comfortable structure known as The Lodge, which houses numerous equipment stations for players to explore and utilize. However, locating Constellation's Mission Board can be a bit challenging, as the game does not provide an exact marker for its whereabouts. Luckily, once players know where to look, it is easy to find and can offer a whole new adventure.
Where To Find The Constellation Mission Board In Starfield
After Sarah's presentation in the Starfield's "One Small Step" story mission, players will have the opportunity to explore The Lodge freely once they obtain the Lodge key. Noel will inform players about Constellation's Mission Board, where they can contribute to ongoing space research.
To locate Constellation's Mission Board, players should take the left door near the entrance of The Lodge and proceed downstairs into the basement, then make a right turn. In the main room, players will find various machines and research stations to interact with, including the computer console for Constellation's Mission Board situated to the right, just before the nearby corridor. Additionally, players can also discover and acquire Starfield's Mark 1 Spacesuit in close proximity.
How Constellation Mission Board Works In Starfield
Interacting with the Constellation Mission Board console allows players to view available missions. These missions do not require in-game currency but provide credits as rewards upon completion. For example, the 'Locate Emerging Tectonics In Altair' mission awards 9,500 Credits and involves conducting a survey to identify planets in a system with specific traits. This mission is known to be the most challenging type of survey. Accepting a mission requires choosing 'Yes,' while selecting 'No' cancels it.
During the 'Locate Emerging Tectonics In Altair' mission, players may have the opportunity to encounter Starfield's Mantis mission or discover a randomized item drop known as 'Secret Outpost!' while exploring. It is worth noting that these may spawn in different locations for other players, such as through the 'The Old Neighbourhood' quest. Engaging in Constellation or other faction missions could potentially lead to more exhilarating discoveries. Additionally, different faction mission boards may offer various types of missions.
Starfield is available now on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
