In Chainsaw Man chapter 143, Tatsuki Fujimoto's manga welcomed back Quanxi from the earlier part of the series. Many fans did not anticipate her return after her previous appearance, making it an unexpected surprise. This event also hinted at the possible comeback of another character. Quanxi, who is famously known as The First Devil Hunter, hails from China and possesses the powers of a Crossbow Devil Hybrid. In part 1 of the manga, she played the role of an antagonist, appearing in the International Assassins arc and the Control Devil arc. However, she had been absent from the series until Chainsaw Man chapter 143.

Chainsaw Man chapter 143: What character might make their return after Quanxi?

The potential return of Kishibe in Chainsaw Man chapter 143 may occur following Quanxi's reappearance. As the Weapon Hybrids commenced their merciless slaughter in East Ogikubo, Quanxi unexpectedly emerged, swiftly vanquishing these abominations by severing and dismembering them.

The recipient of Quanxi's conversation remains a mystery in the manga. However, the casual way she spoke to the senior suggests that it could be none other than Kishibe. Kishibe had a close working relationship with Denji in the past and may have taken on the mission to expose the Chainsaw Man Church situation.
Despite the introduction of a new protagonist, Asa Mitaka, in Chainsaw Man Part 2, the mangaka has been focusing on previously introduced characters and story elements. Therefore, fans can speculate that Quanxi was possibly speaking to Kishibe in Chapter 143, considering his survival in the first part of the manga.

Kishibe, a Public Safety Devil Hunter, was transferred from Tokyo Special Division 1 to Tokyo Special Division 4 after the assault on the Special Divisions. Although he was initially wary of Makima and her actions, he still carried out her request to mentor Denji and Power. As he trained them, Kishibe developed a strong connection with his students and grew fond of them.

Subsequently, when the Control Devil initiated her actions, Kishibe promptly rushed to aid Denji. Although he couldn't assist Denji in his confrontation against Makima, he provided him with a secure shelter. Following Denji's triumph over Makima, Kishibe introduced him to Nayuta, a young girl from China who was the resurrected embodiment of the Control Devil. Entrusting Denji with her well-being, Kishibe left Nayuta in his care, hopeful that he could guide her towards making better choices in life.
