When is Euro 2024?
Euro 2024 is scheduled to take place from June 14 to July 14, 2024.The tournament draw will take place in Hamburg on Saturday, December 2. Germany, as the host nation, will be seeded in Group A and will hold position A1. Consequently, they will participate in the opening match at the Munich Football Arena (Allianz Arena) on Friday, June 14.

Germany has already secured a spot in the finals as the hosts, leaving 23 final berths to be determined through the European Qualifiers, which will continue until November 2023. Additionally, the remaining spots will be decided through play-offs scheduled for March 2024.
What is the tournament format?
The format for the upcoming tournament will mirror that of Euro 2020. In this format, the two highest-ranked teams from each group in the final tournament will advance to the round of 16, along with the four third-placed teams with the best performance.The quarter-finals and semi-finals follow before the Euro 2024 winner will be crowned in Berlin on July 14.
