Christina Hall has consistently been in the public eye for almost ten years, and managing the resulting attention has not always been smooth sailing.
Having been married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018, the HGTV personality and her ex-husband are parents to daughter Taylor and son Brayden. Despite their separation, they persisted in collaborating on their show Flip or Flop. However, in March 2022, Hall and El Moussa revealed that their series would be concluding after a successful ten-season run.
"They reached a mutual agreement to not proceed with another season," a source exclusively informed us. The timing, according to the source, "couldn't have been better for both of them," as the duo "weren't particularly happy working together on set."
After her separation from El Moussa, the real estate mogul went on to get married twice. She first tied the knot with Ant Anstead in 2018 and then with Joshua Hall in 2022. Christina split from the British TV star, with whom she had a son named Hudson in 2019, after less than two years of marriage.

Christina Hall's Ups and Downs Through the Years: Divorces, Custody and More
Finding her own path, Christina Hall has faced the glare of the public eye for almost ten years, and the constant scrutiny hasn't always been straightforward.
Previously married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 until 2018, the HGTV star and her former spouse have two children together, Taylor and Brayden. Despite their split, they have managed to maintain a working relationship as they film their series Flip or Flop. However, in March 2022, Hall and El Moussa revealed that their show would be concluding after its successful ten-season run.
"They agreed unanimously to not proceed with another season," revealed a reliable source, emphasizing that the timing was opportune for both individuals and acknowledging that they didn't share a harmonious on-set experience.
After parting ways with El Moussa, the prominent real estate entrepreneur entered into two subsequent marriages: firstly with Ant Anstead in 2018, and later with Joshua Hall in 2022. Christina, on the other hand, separated from the British television personality, with whom she had a son named Hudson in 2019, after less than two years of matrimony.

Fertility Struggles
The real estate professional was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome, a condition that can affect fertility. In 2010, she and El Moussa became parents to their daughter Taylor. When they decided to have a second child during El Moussa's cancer treatment, they turned to IVF. Unfortunately, after two unsuccessful attempts, she was placed on bed rest. 1st Divorce
After seven years of marriage, the Flip or Flop alums decided to end their relationship in December 2016, following a heated argument at their residence. Their divorce was finalized in 2018, and since then, they have been successfully co-parenting their children in a cooperative manner. "When it comes to our kids, we prioritize their best interests above all else, and that is how we manage to make it work," Christina exclusively told Us in April 2020.

On Bed Rest
Christina and Ant celebrated the arrival of their son, Hudson, in September 2019, less than a year after their wedding. Unfortunately, just three weeks after undergoing a C-section delivery, Christina was placed on bed rest. Reflecting on her situation, she candidly admitted on Instagram, "I made a foolish mistake. While organizing my daughter's birthday party, I ended up injuring myself. I should have taken better care of myself. Now it's back to bed rest and enjoying precious moments with my baby boy."

Battling Mom-Shamers
After ending her relationship with someone from the United Kingdom, the individual from California expressed her experiences of being judged as a single parent. "It's disheartening when people assume that I must be an absentee mother just because I am not constantly seen with my children," she shared on Instagram in November 2020. "I have significantly reduced the frequency of my posts, and I have no intention of turning my kids into props for a competition to prove who is a superior parent. Not posting frequently does not imply that I am distant from my children; in fact, it means the opposite—I am involved and fully present in their lives. So let's put an end to shaming parents and cease creating unnecessary divisions where none exist."

Flipping Out
Prior to its conclusion in early 2022, Flip or Flop was engulfed in controversy due to a heated altercation between Christina and El Moussa on set. In the midst of this incident, El Moussa allegedly resorted to insulting his ex, labeling her as a "washed-up loser." Addressing the situation in September 2021, he candidly shared with E!'s Daily Pop, "Working with an ex can certainly cause stress, and unfortunately, we both said some hurtful things. Looking back, I think we both wish we could erase the entire ordeal... It was an unpleasant experience for everyone involved."

Totally Psyched
Christina made her relationship with Joshua public in July 2021, sharing on Instagram that they had already been together for several months. In her post, she mentioned that she had met Josh when she was not feeling fearful or in a fight-or-flight mode. She had taken a break from social media, sought guidance from a spiritual coach, and even tried a psychedelic experience with a Bufo toad. According to her, this experience had a profound impact on her, resetting her brain and alleviating years of anxiety in just 15 minutes. In September 2021, she excitedly announced their engagement.

Ending 'Flip or Flop'
In March 2022, Christina and Tarek made the announcement that their series would come to a close following season 10. The final episode was aired within the same month. However, they later came together for a one-hour special called Flip or Flop: The Final Flip, which took place later that year.
"It served its purpose, and I choose not to dwell on the past with regrets," she revealed to Entertainment Tonight ahead of the December 2022 "official, real finale." "Reflecting like that doesn't benefit anyone. Instead, I've gained valuable lessons and will avoid repeating the same errors. Presently, I'm sincerely appreciative of my current position, both in terms of my family and career."
She further commented, "Throughout this journey, I acquired abundant knowledge about business, design, and television. The show truly assisted in my personal growth. It was truly an amazing experience."

The Custody Saga
Following Ant's filing for complete custody of Hudson in April 2022, the two were embroiled in a contentious legal conflict. However, they reached a resolution in November 2022, opting to deviate from their initial joint custody agreement and instead allocating equal time for Hudson to spend holidays.
In a lengthy Instagram post in May 2023, Christina pondered the difficult circumstances she had faced. She marveled at the immense transformations life had brought her within just a year. "It's astonishing how much life can shift in such a short span of time," she expressed. Last year, on Mother's Day, her situation had been incredibly challenging. Her post revealed the presence of an unwarranted custody battle, conflicts within the family, and the added burden of a health scare, alongside other stressful occurrences. Despite the chaos, Christina acknowledged that the journey of motherhood made all the trials worthwhile.
