Adam Rippon attributes his wickedly funny sense of humor to Molly Shannon, calling the Saturday Night Live alum his "comedic North Star." The 33-year-old bronze medalist revealed that Shannon's 1999 comedy Superstar was the first movie that made him laugh out loud.
Rippon shared with Us some of his personal favorites, including the book "Beautiful on the Outside" by Adam Rippon, which he described as written by an incredible author who is also quite attractive. He also opened up about the more meaningful moments in his life, such as enjoying dinner in front of the TV with his husband, Jussi-Pekka Kajaala, while their dog, Tony, takes one of his many naps throughout the day. Rippon, who is currently a contestant on Stars on Mars, admitted that while he may not have what it takes to be a real astronaut, he certainly looks good in the uniform and is giving it his all on the reality show where celebrities compete in a simulated Mars-like environment.
"I take great pride in those moments in my career when I embraced discomfort and nervousness, demonstrating bravery and pushing through," Rippon explained.
