Balloon Boy is widely regarded as one of the most despised characters in the game Five Nights at Freddy’s. This is mainly due to his eerie appearance and relentless jump scares that startle and take away the players' power source. However, one wonders if Balloon Boy can truly be classified as an animatronic. He displays signs of sentience, as he can be found moving around various areas of the pizzeria and oddly even hops into a taxi.

What is baffling is the fact that Balloon Boy is incredibly small, almost like a figurine, yet possesses a level of sentience similar to the larger animatronics. Could it be possible that William Afton, the game's antagonist, murdered a child and transformed them into this toy-like creation? The true nature and origins of Balloon Boy remain shrouded in mystery, leaving us with countless questions about his existence.

7. How Did William Afton Lead A Double Life?

William Afton, also known as Steve Raglan, not only owns Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place but also holds the sinister reputation within the Five Nights at Freddy’s community as a merciless murderer. His sinister actions involve targeting and murdering innocent children, then concealing their bodies inside animatronic suits. Despite his chilling extracurricular activities, Afton astonishingly managed to maintain a double life as a respected career counselor, operating under the alias of Steve Raglan.

Would individuals not investigate his previous role as the owner of Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place or take into account the substantial difference in his name? It appears peculiar that William Afton would choose an occupation where he had consistent opportunities to harm children, only to subsequently transition into a career counseling field aimed at assisting adults in obtaining employment.

6. Is Vanessa Actually A Cop?

Vanessa doesn't do much policing

Vanessa, the police officer in Five Nights at Freddy's, seems to lack proficiency in her role. In contrast to her responsibilities of patrolling the town and maintaining public order, she predominantly spends her time at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place. It is perplexing how Vanessa has not faced termination, considering her evident negligence towards protecting and serving while socializing with Freddy Fazbear and his companions every night.

Moreover, Vanessa's engagement at the pizzeria goes beyond mere supervision of the derelict establishment. She actively stays and constructs forts using chairs for recreational purposes. The coherence of Vanessa being a police officer on duty and simultaneously indulging in idle activities at an abandoned pizzeria raises doubts. Does she not possess a communication device to respond to calls, or is she deceiving others about her profession?

5. Did No One Smell Rotting Corpses?

Certainly, the animatronics would emit a putrid odor if they housed deceased individuals. The explanation behind William Afton's successful evasion of punishment for his heinous crimes lies in his method of concealing the children's bodies within these endearing creations. It appears inconceivable that no one would consider inspecting these affectionate entities. Nevertheless, this reasoning loses its credibility when one comprehends the repugnant stench emitted by a decaying corpse, particularly contained within a metallic suit that regularly engages with children.

Surely there must have been a noticeable stench? Regardless, since the closure of the pizzeria, the security guards have either resigned or vanished, their lifeless bodies discreetly concealed in a hidden chamber. How is it possible that none of the previous guards stumbled upon these corpses, and what is their fate? It's unlikely that they would resort to burying them in a parking lot.

4. How Did A Giant Animatronic Get To Mike’s House?

Golden Freddy arrives at Mike's house, but how?

The animatronics desire Abby Schmidt to join them as an animatronic and play with her eternally. However, a perplexing question arises regarding Golden Freddy's journey to Mike's house- it seems absurd and puzzling.

It is improbable that Golden Freddy took a taxi, as he lacked the necessary funds for payment. Moreover, it is implausible that he walked since he would have surely been noticed, or given the animatronics' slow pace, it would have taken countless hours, extending well into the morning.

3. Why Did The Yellow Rabbit Costume Have Springlocks Inside?

Unraveling the Mystery of Five Nights at Freddy’s: 8 Perplexing Plot Points

The origin of Springtrap can be traced back to the Yellow Rabbit, which is rather peculiar considering that Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Place used both mascots in suits and animatronics. It seems quite odd that the suits meant for accommodating someone to freely move would feature springlocks designed to potentially harm individuals by trapping them and crushing their flesh and bones.

2. Is The Cupcake Sentient?

It is rather peculiar that the Yellow Rabbit costume, when worn by William Afton, was intentionally created to ensnare him and gradually bring about his demise. The suit would then proceed to fill him up, imprisoning him within its confines as his body decomposed, leaving him no means of escape.

Chica's cupcake has sentience, unlike the game version

The cupcake in the Five Nights at Freddy's movie may seem harmless at first, with its silly animatronic attached to Chica's plate. However, it becomes unexpectedly dangerous when it attempts to bite off someone's face and Mike's leg. This raises the question of whether the cupcake in Five Nights at Freddy's possesses sentience.

It is difficult to comprehend how the cupcake could contain the soul of a child, as Mike's dreams do not feature the cupcake being a child, and it is also unlikely that William would stuff a cupcake with a child's body. Why does the cupcake exhibit such evil tendencies when it is typically just a decorative part of the malevolent Chica?

1. Are The Animatronics Good Or Bad?

Unraveling the Mystery of Five Nights at Freddy’s: 8 Perplexing Plot Points

The animatronics exhibit both positive and negative behaviors. Furthermore, their actions in Five Nights at Freddy's appear inconsistent, as they alternate between engaging in playful activities like tickle fights and singing on stage, and engaging in violent acts such as biting people or causing harm. Overall, the animatronics' moral compass appears to be quite erratic.

What's the deal with the animatronics and their erratic behavior of alternating between assisting and murdering individuals? While it is understandable for them to seek vengeance against William Afton, who killed them and ensnared their spirits within the animatronics, it is perplexing why they also target unsuspecting security guards, intruders, and even innocent children.

Five Nights at Freddy's

Editor's P/S

As a Gen Z fan, I have mixed feelings about the Five Nights at Freddy's movie. On the one hand, I appreciate the filmmakers' attempt to bring the popular video game to life on the big screen. The movie's visuals are impressive, and the animatronics are well-designed. The acting is also solid, with Nicolas Cage giving a particularly memorable performance as William Afton.

On the other hand, I found the movie's plot to be convoluted and confusing. There are a lot of unanswered questions and plot holes, which left me feeling frustrated. I also didn't care much for the characters. They were all pretty one-dimensional and forgettable.

Overall, I think the Five Nights at Freddy's movie is a missed opportunity. It had the potential to be a great horror film, but it ultimately falls short. I would recommend it to fans of the video game, but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
