Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 introduced the jungle biome and brought along numerous new points of interest (POIs) and landmarks to the map. Despite these additions, the majority of the island remained largely unchanged from the previous season.
After two months into Chapter 4 Season 3, Epic Games unveiled the hidden Lonely Labyrinth landmark. However, this labyrinth remained a secret to many players due to its concealed location. This guide will provide players with precise instructions on discovering and navigating through the Lonely Labyrinth in Fortnite.
How to Enter the Lonely Labyrinth
The Lonely Labyrinth is positioned to the direct east of the Aegis Temple and to the north of Lonely Labs, an icy location situated in the northeastern section of the map.
Upon arrival, players will come across the Frigid Frog landmark, an uninspiring island housing a remote station with minimal loot available. To locate the entrance to the Lonely Labyrinth, players must descend using the Ascender, a device found on the island's western side, north of the ice bridge connecting Frigid Frog to Aegis Temple.
Upon reaching the ground beneath, a conspicuous sight awaits - a sizable metallic entrance cleverly concealed amidst the frozen masses. Venturing forth, players can now navigate through the enigmatic expanse known as the Lonely Labyrinth, endeavoring to reach its center.
How to Reach the Middle of the Maze
Players must accurately follow the following directions to retrieve the loot: right, right, left, right, left, forward, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, right, left, left, right, left, forward. The maze can be deceiving, particularly at first. Upon entering, players will notice a large neon arrow pointing left, but it is intentionally misleading and leads to the exit. Moreover, the port-a-potties found within the maze only provide an exit and do not contain any hidden treasure room.
If players ever find themselves disoriented in the perplexing maze, they have two options to consider. Firstly, they can opt to enter a port-a-potty to facilitate their search for an exit, and subsequently give it another try. Alternatively, they can endeavor to locate the almost hidden wooden arrows inconspicuously placed on the walls. These arrows may blend seamlessly into their surroundings, making them easy to overlook, but their purpose is to guide players towards the treasure-filled room situated at the very heart of the labyrinth.
After reaching the secret room, gamers are advised to empty the contents of the treasure chests before leaving through the nearby port-a-potty. Fortnite can be played on various platforms including Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
