According to local news site Daryo, a blast occurred near Tashkent's airport at a warehouse. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan, as reported by Russian state news agency TASS, stated that a fire erupted in one of the warehouses situated in the Sergeli district of Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, a former Soviet republic in Central Asia.
The ministry said the fire was caused by a lightning strike on a warehouse owned by Inter Logistics LLC, TASS reported.
