The Kansas City Chiefs and superstar quarterback Patrick Mahomes had a tough beginning to the year, suffering a surprising 21-20 loss to the Detroit Lions in Missouri. Despite this setback, many are confident that the Chiefs will still come out on top this year.

Throughout the year, the defense has consistently delivered strong performances, but now the offense, led by quarterback Dak Prescott, is operating at its peak. Their Super Bowl potential was showcased once again on Sunday as Americas Team dominated their NFC East rivals, the Philadelphia Eagles, with a resounding 33-13 victory, seeking redemption for their previous loss to Philly in Week 9.

Prescott continued to lead Dallas in the game, with his two touchdown throws helping the team take a 24-6 lead at halftime. While the second half was not as offensively explosive, the defense stepped up to stifle Philadelphia's usually dynamic offense.

"Securing victory against a formidable team on our home turf, a place where we've had a track record of success over the last two years, has put us tied for first place in the division. This is significant, despite still having a couple of games remaining against both teams. As I've mentioned before, our focus is on maintaining our performance and finishing strong. This win was essential and a collective effort. However, we need to shift our focus quickly, especially in this highly competitive league and considering the position we've put ourselves in. There's no time to dwell on this victory. We expected this outcome and played up to our standards, so our aim now is to repeat this success next week."

The Eagles lost with quarterback Jalen Hurts only throwing for 197 yards and the defense struggling against the Cowboys. This marks the first game since 2019 that the Eagles have failed to score an offensive touchdown.

Head coach Nick Sirianni addressed the need to turn things around in order to make a deep playoff push.

The roles remain the same as they have always been, and now we are facing some adversity. Adversity can have two outcomes: it can either break us or make us better. I believe that everyone in the locker room has experienced tough times and has still reached this point. They have made it this far because of the challenges they have overcome.

This adversity has played a significant role in bringing many of us to where we are today, and it is essential to remember that. We must internalize this and ensure that the current adversity we are facing will only make us stronger and better in the end.

The Baltimore Ravens and the Los Angeles Rams delivered an exhilarating game that ended in a tie during regulation time, leading to overtime. The Ravens had the first possession but were unable to make any progress, resulting in a punt. The Rams, in turn, also failed to advance the ball, leading to their own punt.

As Wallace approached the end zone, it appeared that he may have stumbled, but he quickly regained his footing and dashed to the end zone, securing a dramatic game-winning victory.

Wallace's 76-yard game-winning return sparked mass celebration, with even Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson joining the scrum that ensued. The play secured a 37-31 victory for Baltimore over the Rams. Adding to the significance was the fact that Wallace was only fielding punts due to an injury suffered by the Ravens' regular punt returner, Devin Duvernay, in the first half.

Prior to this season, the only players with an overtime punt return touchdown were Patrick Peterson in 2011 and the Kansas City Chiefs Tamarick Vanover in 1995 against the San Diego Chargers.

The thrilling game at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore showcased both teams' potential for making the playoffs by the end of the season. Despite the Rams being in a winning position in the final minutes, it was largely due to the outstanding performance of quarterback Matthew Stafford and second-year running back Kyren Williams.

In 2017, NFL MVP Jackson demonstrated once again why he is a contender for the award, amassing 316 passing yards, three touchdowns in the air, and 70 rushing yards. Following the dramatic victory, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh showered his quarterback with praise.

The Ravens returned to the top of the AFC with the victory as they improved to 10-3 on the season, while the Rams slip to 6-7, just outside the NFC playoff picture.

A low-scoring affair in Las Vegas

Often, it is the high scores and touchdowns which grab the headlines. But in Las Vegas, fans were treated to one of the most bizarre games weve seen in a while.

The game didn't showcase offensive mastery, as both teams only totaled 433 yards and 17 punts. The Vikings faced setbacks when star wide receiver Justin Jefferson left the game in the second quarter due to a chest injury, having just returned from a hamstring problem that caused him to miss the last seven games.

But it was the defense that was the real game changer, holding Las Vegas scoreless with a combination of excellent defensive plays and offensive miscues by the Raiders.

"Though individual players are excelling in their roles, it is the combined effort of the team that is making the difference. We are utilizing a variety of players and different personnel groupings," O'Connell informed the reporters.

"Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores and his staff are doing an excellent job of staying focused on their responsibilities, despite the challenges we've faced with injuries on offense. Unfortunately, we did not perform well in terms of pitching, catching, or maintaining a drive during the game."
