A devoted Minecraft player has successfully obtained all the armor trims in the game within his hardcore world, and has generously shared this achievement with fellow players. Minecraft, a constantly evolving game, owes its continuous innovation to the creative contributions of the community and the new features introduced by Mojang.

After a considerable wait, Minecraft finally received the Trails and Tales update in June. This update aimed to enhance the game's theme of creativity and self-expression, and it brought forth an array of new decorative blocks such as cherry wood, which is now part of the newly added Minecraft biome. Additionally, Minecraft introduced the inclusion of pottery shards that can be transformed into various decorative pots, as well as new customization options like armor trims.

Reddit user TreyOvard has shared images of his impressive project: collecting all the armor trims available in Minecraft within his hardcore world. These armor trims can be created using smithing templates found in various structures throughout the game. While there are 16 different armor trims in Minecraft, TreyOvard decided to go even further by acquiring variants of each trim using different materials. For example, combining emerald with an armor trim gives it a green color, while combining it with lapis lazuli gives it a blue color. In order to showcase his achievement, TreyOvard created a visually stunning display showcasing all the armor trims, with a special emphasis on Silence, which is considered the rarest armor trim in Minecraft.

TreyOvard's post on the Minecraft subreddit has received nearly 10,000 upvotes and over 400 comments, with many players expressing their admiration for the player's dedication and patience. One user even asked how many diamonds TreyOvard used for his project. While an exact number could not be provided, TreyOvard did reveal that his Minecraft statistics indicate that he mined a total of 17,809 diamond ores. In order to maximize his diamond yield, TreyOvard also made use of Fortune 3, which is one of the most powerful enchantments for pickaxes. This means that approximately 34,000 diamond ores were utilized for his project. Additionally, TreyOvard has a YouTube channel where a video showcasing his journey to collect all the Minecraft armor trims has been published.

The Trails and Tales update introduced armor trims, adding a new level of customization to Minecraft. Players now have more incentive to explore their worlds, as each armor trim has a rarity level. By combining different armor trims with two pieces of armor, players have the opportunity to create hundreds of unique combinations. These armor trims bring Minecraft closer to transmogrification, a popular feature in RPG games such as Diablo 4. Although transmogrification has not yet been integrated into Minecraft, it allows for extensive visual customization, providing players with various avenues for self-expression. Minecraft is available on Mobile, PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One, and legacy platforms.
