Cassidy Clark, 26, opened up about her strained relationship with fellow Survivor competitor Michaela Bradshaw. Speaking exclusively to We on Friday, October 13, Cassidy revealed that Michaela was the only person in their alliance that she didn't really click with. This conversation took place just one day after Cassidy's elimination from the reality series.
"She possesses great intelligence, but her intellect leans more towards logic, while I believe I possess a stronger emotional intelligence. Our approach to the game differs greatly, leading to frequent clashes between us," Cassidy expressed. "Due to my past experiences, I struggle with individuals who employ manipulative tactics, as it triggers memories of an abusive relationship I endured."
Clarifying that she did not mean to insinuate that any contestants from her season were abusive, Cassidy emphasized that she is not receptive to manipulation as a strategy in the game.
"It works for some individuals, enabling them to engage in a highly strategic and meticulously calculated game, which is commendable. However, I am not fond of individuals who attempt to belittle me with their intelligence or coerce me into certain actions through cunning tactics. I find it disheartening to partake in mind games. Such behavior does not resonate with my values," she expressed. "I have acquired the ability to assert myself whenever I sense manipulation. Consequently, I believe our connection was hindered by these factors."

Cassidy also named Challenge veteran Wes Bergmann as someone she found hard to connect with due to his approach to the game.
"I never felt a genuine connection with people like [Michaela] or Wes. It always seemed like they had ulterior motives or were simply using me for their own game strategy, without any real care for me as an individual," she expressed. "It's alright though, because I don't form my relationships in the game that way."
Despite being eliminated just before the final, Cassidy proved to be a formidable competitor throughout the season. She faced off in the Arena four times, emerging victorious in her first three battles against Alyssa Lopez, Alyssa Snider, and Michele Fitzgerald. Ultimately, she was defeated by Chanelle Howell in a Hall Brawl on the episode aired on Thursday, October 12.
Cassidy, in an interview with Us, emphasized the insufficient recognition given to the emotional strain endured by individuals participating repeatedly in the Arena and receiving numerous nominations. Despite encountering challenges, Cassidy expresses gratitude for how the season unfolded and reaching the final 10 contestants.
"If I had the opportunity to participate in a game where I didn't have to enter the Arena as frequently, I would have eagerly seized that chance. However, would it have provided me with the same narrative and the opportunity to prove myself in the manner I did? No," she expressed. "In hindsight, I prefer the path I chose and the challenging journey I embarked on, as it allowed me to experience an extraordinary rookie season."
