Call of Duty Modern Warfare Zombies is about to go live, alongside the Multiplayer, and Activision has unveiled the complete list of perks and field upgrades that will be available. The breakdown of the Zombies mode provides players with a glimpse of what to anticipate when Modern Warfare 3 is released on November 10. While Zombies have been a staple in the Call of Duty franchise, they are presented in a slightly different manner in MW3.
The new Zombies mode offers a unique open-world gaming experience, set in the new Urzikstan map, where players must collaborate in teams to survive against the relentless undead. To aid in their survival, players and their teammates can strategically utilize various defensive and offensive field upgrades. Here is an overview of all the field upgrades that will be accessible in MW3.
All Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Field Upgrades
Energy Mine: This spawns an energy mine that causes damage to any enemy that sets it off.Recharge speed: Medium
Frenzie Guard: When activated, the Frenzie Guard compels all nearby targets to direct their attacks towards the player. If the player successfully defeats the attacking enemy while the upgrade is active, their armor will be restored. Recharge speed: Slow
Healing Aura: The Healing Aura has the ability to restore the health of players, even when they are in their final moments. Recharge speed: Slow
Frost Blast: Damages enemies with frost through an initial explosion and creates an area that hinders the movement of anyone who steps into it. Recharges at a medium speed.
Aether Shroud: Grants players invisibility against zombies upon activation. Recharges at a medium speed.
Tesla Storm in the game allows players to release chain lightning that damages other players for 10 seconds. The recharge speed for this ability is medium.
In Modern Warfare 3, players will initially only be able to use one field upgrade in the Zombies mode. However, as they level up, they can unlock additional field upgrades. It's important for players not to confuse field upgrades with the weapons and loadouts they bring into the Zombie mode, as they are separate items in the inventory. Activision has not yet disclosed how many field upgrades players can carry into MW3's Zombie mode, but we will update this article with that information once it becomes available.
With the imminent launch of Modern Warfare 3, there is a palpable anticipation for the unveiling of an array of exhilarating features that include Zombie perks, enticing content, cutting-edge weapons, challenging missions, advanced equipment, and thrilling acquisitions.

As a Gen Z fan, I am thrilled about the upcoming release of Modern Warfare 3 and the introduction of Zombies mode. The new open-world gaming experience in the Urzikstan map sounds incredibly exciting, and I can't wait to collaborate with my teammates to survive against the relentless undead.
The various field upgrades that will be available in MW3 add an extra layer of strategy and depth to the gameplay. The Energy Mine, Frenzie Guard, Healing Aura, Frost Blast, Aether Shroud, and Tesla Storm all have unique abilities that can be used to turn the tide of battle in our favor. I'm particularly intrigued by the Aether Shroud, which grants players invisibility against zombies. This could be a game-changer, allowing us to sneak past hordes of undead or get the drop on them for a surprise attack.
