Unlocking the Archon Archetype in Remnant 2: A Comprehensive Guide

Unlocking the Archon archetype is a challenging feat Obtain Leto's Amulet, the Black Cat Band, and other powerful artifacts Acquire the Full Realmwalker Armor Set and Ford's Scattergun Discover the Cube Gun, Labyrinth Staff, and the coveted Void Heart Relic Master the corrupted biome gate

How to get the Archon archetype

To acquire the Archon archetype, a comprehensive search through various biomes in Remnant II is necessary, as it holds numerous secretive archetypes. While most of them can be obtained through meticulous exploration, the process to obtain the Archon archetype is far from straightforward. Patience becomes crucial if you aim to add this one to your collection. Here's the breakdown.

How to get the Archon archetype

In order to obtain the Archon archetype, a substantial number of items must be collected prior to embarking on the quest for an exceptionally well-concealed door in the Labyrinth. This comprehensive guide provides all the required items, archetypes, and additional details to assist you in your pursuit.

Archetypes

Invader archetype at level 5 with the Worm Hole skill activated

Explorer archetype at level 10 with Fortune Hunter skill activated

Leto's Amulet

Leto's Amulet is available for purchase from Reggie in Ward 13. To unlock this item, you must wear exceptionally heavy armor to perform a belly flop instead of a roll. Once you have successfully executed this maneuver 100 times, the amulet will appear in Reggie's inventory. It may seem peculiar, but that's exactly how it works.

Black Cat Band

The Black Cat Band can also be acquired from Reggie in Ward 13, but there's a catch. You need to meet a rather unfortunate condition of dying 15 times within a relatively short span of time. Once this requirement is met, you can find the band available for purchase from Reggie.

Amber Moonstone

The Amber Moonstone can be purchased from Cass in Ward 13.

Anastasija's Inspiration

Anastasija’s Inspiration can be purchased from Whispers in Ward 13.

Zania's Malice

To locate Zania's Malice in Root Earth's Ashen Wasteland map, search for a ramp that leads down into the trainyard. Above this ramp, you will notice a small section that can be crawled through to access the item.

Full Realmwalker Armor Set

To acquire the Realmwalker set, visit Whispers in Ward 13 after completing the game. They have it available for purchase.

Ford's Scattergun

In order to obtain Ford's Scattergun in Yaesha, you must first complete the Red Throne storyline. After that, you should return and have a conversation with The Eternal Empress, making sure to say very nice things. If you do this, she will grant you the Seal of the Empress. Once you have the seal, equip it and make your way to the library in the same map. When you reach the library, the ground will open up beneath you, revealing a secret area where you can find the gun.

Cube Gun

To craft the Cube Gun, you'll need to visit McCabe in Ward 13. Give her the Conflux Prism, which is obtained by defeating the Labyrinth Sentinel boss. This boss is encountered relatively early on in the main story of the game.

Labyrinth Staff

The Labyrinth Staff is located within the Labyrinth itself. In order to reach it, make your way towards the portal that continuously changes its destination. Instead of going through the portal, continue towards the left and carefully drop down from the end of the platform. You will find a stone path below that will guide you to the Bastion aberration fight and an altar that holds the staff.

Void Heart Relic

In order to obtain the Void Heart, you must defeat the Sha'hala boss in N'erud. Once the boss is defeated, speak to The Custodian about your victory. After this, you will need to wait for a period of 24 real-time hours. Return to N'erud after this time has passed and you will find yourself in Alepsis Taura, where the relic can be found among the clouds.

How to find and open the corrupted biome gate

With all the necessary items collected and equipped, it is now time to proceed towards a concealed door located within the Labyrinth. Please note that the following instructions are based on the assumption that you have already completed the Labyrinth at least once.

Commencing from the Fractured Ingress World Stone, navigate downwards through the staircase directly ahead. Afterwards, continue straight and make a left turn through the doorway situated to the left of the immense portal. Ascend a small set of stairs to your right and pass through the entrance in the shape of a cross. At this point, you will encounter a portal that undergoes periodic changes in its teleportation destination. Wait for it to transition to a location that appears to lead to an imminent fall, then step through it to initiate the downward descent. After a few moments, you will find yourself safely landing on a newly formed stone pathway.

Follow the stone pathway and head towards the final area on the right side where you'll come across a substantial, corrupted biome gate. Ensure that you have all your collected items equipped and proceed to use the Biome Portal Key on the gate, then step through it.

Upon entering, you will find yourself in the Backrooms, a maze that allows for only a limited amount of time for exploration, so it is important to move swiftly. Within this maze, there are multiple items to discover, but your main objective is to locate the Strange Box, which can be found in the furthest section to the back and left of the area.

Once you discover the Strange Box, return to Ward 13 and make your way to the docks to see Wallace. As with the other archetypes, hand over the Strange Box to receive the Hexahedron in exchange. This will grant you the ability to wield the powerful Archon archetype.

The Archon archetype focuses on swiftly generating modifications and harnessing the forceful mystical abilities of the Labyrinth to defeat your adversaries. It is widely regarded as the most formidable class in the game and can serve as an exceptionally remarkable secondary archetype to enhance your primary set of skills, should you decide to do so.

Editor's P/S

As a hard fan of the game, I am excited to see the new Archon archetype being added to Remnant 2. The process of unlocking it seems challenging but rewarding, and I can't wait to try it out for myself. I especially appreciate the detailed guide provided in the article, which outlines the specific steps and items required to obtain the archetype. This level of detail shows that the developers have put a lot of thought into the design of the Archon archetype and want players to have a memorable experience unlocking it.

Overall, I think the addition of the Archon archetype is a great way to keep players engaged with Remnant 2 and to provide them with a new goal to strive for. I can't wait to see what other surprises the developers have in store for us in future updates.
