In Fortnite's battle royale mode, Chapter 4 Season 3 brought an array of fresh additions. Enhancements include the ability for players to achieve swifter movement and concealment by sliding through mud, as well as the introduction of bomb flowers and the option to deploy aggressive Wildwasps against adversaries. Alongside these novel mechanics, players are also presented with a selection of new weaponry to experiment with.
One intriguing addition that accompanied the launch of the WILDS season is the Flapjack Rifle. This guide provides players with insights on locating the Flapjack Rifle, as well as divulging its statistics and conducting a comparison with the Havoc Suppressed Assault Rifle - a similarly available assault rifle within the game.
Where to Find the Flapjack Rifle
The Flapjack Rifle, found in both low and high rarities, is a widely popular weapon within Chapter 4 Season 3. Its chances of appearing are significantly increased due to its availability across various biomes, not limited to just the jungle. Whether players explore forests or deserts, they will have no trouble locating this weapon. In Fortnite, the Flapjack Rifle can be obtained as floor loot or through searching chests and rare chests.
Flapjack Rifle Stats
The Flapjack Rifle is available in all rarities, so players will notice that its stats will differ quite a lot depending on which rarity they're carrying in their inventory.
Gamers wielding a superior Flapjack Rifle will readily observe its expedited reload speed and increased damage output, particularly when landing a headshot. With a headshot multiplier of 1.5x, the Common Flapjack Rifle can inflict 38 points of damage, while its Legendary counterpart is capable of dealing 47 points of damage.
Rarity | Damage | Fire rate | Reload time | Structure damage |
---|---|---|---|---|
Common | 25 | 6.2 | 3.85 | 30 |
Uncommon | 27 | 6.2 | 3.68 | 31 |
Rare | 28 | 6.2 | 3.5 | 33 |
Epic | 29 | 6.2 | 3.33 | 35 |
Legendary | 31 | 6.2 | 3.15 | 36 |
In Chapter 4 Season 3, there are two non-scoped Assault Rifles available: the Havoc Suppressed Rifle and the Flapjack Rifle. These rifles differ mainly in their reloading time. Although a Legendary Havoc Suppressed Rifle deals the same amount of damage as a Common Flapjack Rifle, the Havoc has a faster reload time of 2.25 seconds.
Considering this, it is generally easier to find a Common Flapjack Rifle than a Legendary Havoc. To compensate for its slower reload time, the Flapjack Rifle has a larger magazine size of 45 bullets, while the Havoc's magazine can only hold 30 bullets.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
