How to Get Into the Payday 3 Closed Beta
With two platforms for players to choose from when attempting to sign up for the beta, naturally, the methods will differ.
Steam
For PC players, joining the Payday 3 closed beta on Steam can be done by following these steps:
Sign in to the account that will be used to access the beta.
Head to the Steam page for Payday 3 either via a web browser or the Steam application.
Scroll down to the purchasing section, and under the playtest section, click on Request Access.
Upon being selected, successful applicants will be sent an email that allows for access to the closed beta.
Xbox Series X|S
Players who prefer to do their heisting on the Xbox Series X or S, here are the steps to take:
Sign in to the preferred Xbox account that will be used for the beta.
Navigate over to the Xbox Insider Hub, and select the Previews section.
Look for Payday 3 under this section and apply for access.
Selected participants will receive an email with further information regarding the closed beta of Payday 3. During this exclusive testing phase, players will have the opportunity to explore all difficulty settings that will be available upon the game's official release. However, Infamy levels will be restricted to a maximum of 22, and weapon progression levels will be limited to level eight.
