Jackbox Party Pack 10 stands out as this year's installment, marking a significant milestone for the franchise. With an impressive lineup of games, including a sequel to Tee K.O. featuring beloved mascots from previous games, and the introduction of the first-ever music game, Dodo Re Mi, this pack is truly special.
For fans, the dilemma lies in deciding which game to jump into first and who to play it with. Each game offers a unique experience, guaranteeing endless enjoyment for anyone who grabs Jackbox Party Pack 10.
Tee K.O. 2
Tee K.O. 2 is a hilarious drawing game that serves as a sequel to the original version found in Jackbox Party Pack 3. The objective is for players to create the funniest designs possible. Once everyone has submitted their designs and accompanying slogans, a voting gauntlet ensues to determine the winner. The combination of clever slogans and well-crafted designs adds an extra layer of humor. Tee K.O. 2 surpasses its predecessor by offering a wider range of garments, more diverse slogan fonts, an improved drawing interface, avatars from previous Party Packs, and an enhanced final round. It truly amplifies all the elements that fans adored in the original version. Furthermore, fans can even order their favorite designs for real-life wear. The game accommodates 3 to 8 players.
FixyText
FixyText is a collaborative word game that involves players responding to prompts and text messages collectively. Unlike other games, there is no option to delete any typos or shenanigans, making every mistake and hilarious change permanent. Jackbox Games has previously described FixyText as capturing the chaotic atmosphere of a group chat among friends, with the most amusing alterations being the winners. Interestingly, it is common to see slogans from Tee K.O.2. being adapted to FitxyText, and vice versa, for an extra layer of enjoyment. The game is designed for 3 to 8 players.
Timejinx
Timejinx is a unique take on trivia games, adding a fun twist to the genre. In this game, players take on the role of time travelers and must accurately determine the dates of historical events. All the trivia questions revolve around specific years, and players earn points based on how close their guesses are. The scoring system is similar to golf, with the player who guesses the closest receiving the least points. For example, if the question pertains to an event in 1930 and one player guesses 1931 while another guesses 1942, the first player would earn 1 point and the second player would earn 12 points. The player with the lowest score at the end of the game emerges as the winner. To make things even more exciting, Timejinx also includes unexpected futuristic elements. Suitable for 1 to 8 players.
Hypnotorious
Hypnotorious is a social deduction game inspired by Among Us, but with a unique twist. Unlike the imposter in Among Us, the outlier in Hypnotorious is unaware of their role. The game involves players assuming specific roles and attempting to determine their place within various groups. Meanwhile, one person does not belong and must also discover their outlier status. This often leads to humorous outcomes. For instance, a player may be assigned the role of Gandalf, who could potentially be associated with other bearded characters, Lord of the Rings characters, or characters from books in general. If the outlier is actually Tom Cruise, but mistakenly believes the others represent book characters (Gandalf, Harry Potter, Alice), they must also uncover their mismatched status. Suitable for 4-8 players.
Dodo Re Mi
Presentation-wise, Dodo Re Mi transforms players into birds seeking to evade consumption by a carnivorous plant. To survive, they must sing, using their phones and controllers as instruments. Similar to Guitar Hero and Rock Band, players can unlock a variety of songs and play an assortment of real and quirky instruments, such as constant screaming, guitar, drums, kazoo, Lip Flipper, Taz the Cat, and more. The performance is then shown to determine individual success, and unlike Jackbox Party Packs, Dodo Re Mi does not adhere to a fixed round structure. Instead, players have the flexibility to play one or two rounds and move on if desired.
For the number of players, the game accommodates 1-9 individuals.
The Jackbox Party Pack 10 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, and Xbox Series X|S.
