Hidden within Remnant 2 are numerous secrets, many of which require traversing between two distinct yet interconnected areas. For those who have explored Losomn, they may have come across the Lemark District, a severely damaged section of the Dran city where an ancient clockmaker's workshop resides. At first glance, it may appear insignificant, but it in fact plays a significant role in Losomn's magnificent Hewdas Clock Tower.
Players of Remnant 2 may be left disappointed when attempting to ascend the clock tower, as it fails to provide the expected reward. This discrepancy arises from the close relationship between the Lemark District and the Hewdas Clock Tower, requiring both locations to be fully unlocked and explored in order to unleash their true potential.
Remnant 2: Lemark District Clock Puzzle Solution
In the clockmaker's workshop, players have the opportunity to interact with one of the clocks placed on the table. By touching it, the clock's face will be shown on the screen, allowing players to manually adjust the position of the individual clock hands.
To solve this puzzle, players must focus on the Hewdas Clock, which may be found in Morrow Parish, Brocwythe Quarter, or Forsaken Quarter. From a distance (preferably with a scope), carefully observe the clock and take note of the time displayed. Afterwards, return to the Lemark District and enter the exact same time on the small clock in the workshop. It is important to note that this time may vary for each playthrough, so double-checking is recommended.
Determining the precise time shown in the image above could be challenging due to the unique structure of Dran clocks. These clocks feature eight hours, with four minute-notches positioned between each hour. In case the minute hand's placement on the Hewdas Clock appears unclear, you can effortlessly tackle the puzzle by continuously pressing the Confirm button and adjusting the hand's position.
By completing this, players will receive a quest item, indicating that the clock tower district puzzle is not yet finished. To truly benefit from this challenge, players must ascend the Hewdas Clock Tower and reach its highest point. Begin at the tower's base and carefully make your way up the ledges towards the upper floors, being cautious of Winged Fae posing as stone gargoyles who can knock players off the ledge, resulting in their demise.
Once you have reached the top, activate the tower by flipping the lever located near the elevator. Then, turn the wheel to bring the Hewdas Clock back to life. As a result, the item outside will drop through a hole in the wall. This item, known as the Broken Timepiece, can be given to McCabe in exchange for the Time Lapse mod, which freezes enemies.
Remnant 2 is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
