Upon arrival in Stonhyrr, players will immediately notice the city's dilapidated state. The absence of the usual royalists is conspicuous, as the entire area is overrun with akashic enemies. Progressing through the city requires traversing multiple gates, leaving players with no option but to move forward. As they reach a circular section of the bridge, a captivating cutscene unfolds, seamlessly transitioning into an intense boss battle.

In the Final Fantasy series, Behemoth is a well-known adversary that has become a true classic. This formidable creature uses its massive size to its advantage, relentlessly swiping at players and unleashing various attacks, including powerful ground slams. However, what truly sets Behemoth apart is its ability to wield magic, specifically the capacity to summon devastating meteors and comets that rain down upon unsuspecting players.

At 60% health, Behemoth unleashes a unique variant of Meteor. Although it may appear menacing, it can be easily countered by successfully completing two Cinematic Clashes. Following this spectacle, Behemoth summons a formidable tornado called Maelstrom. It is crucial to quickly move out of its path to evade any harm. Once the Maelstrom subsides, Behemoth continues employing its usual array of abilities, including Comet. However, when Behemoth's health drops below 25%, it summons a more powerful version of Comet known as Meteor. It is imperative to dodge all incoming meteors during this phase.

Finally, when Behemoth's health dwindles to less than 1%, it performs a devastating move called Extinction. This produces a colossal meteor that crashes down, unleashing a powerful shockwave. To avoid getting hurt, it is crucial to skillfully avoid this shockwave. Once successfully dodged, the battle concludes.

Continue to the Inner Sanctum

After taking a moment to recover, proceed up the stairs towards the inner sanctum. The respite from combat is short-lived, as a horde of enemies quickly launch an attack. Once all enemies have been eliminated, descend the stairs to another area where more adversaries await. Defeat them all and proceed through the gate. Continue onwards, battling and defeating enemies in this area, until reaching the Mothercrystal.

As players draw nearer, they will encounter additional minions of Ultima's non-akashic forces. Enter the castle and ascend the nearby stairs. Follow the path to emerge on a castle balcony, where another group of enemies will appear. Locate a set of stairs that lead further upwards towards a gate. Any attempt to reach the gate on the opposite side of this open space will result in a brief battle.

Proceed through the gate and follow the path leading to a descending set of stairs. While traversing, numerous formidable enemy groups will make attempts to obstruct the progress of Final Fantasy 16 players. Activate the nearby lever to unlock the gate and then pass through it to initiate another intense battle against a massive horde of foes. Eventually, players will confront a powerful orc warlord who has succumbed to the akashic corruption. Following the confrontation, a compelling cutscene will unfold as the cavalry arrives. Once the cutscene concludes, if any provisions are required, players can seek assistance from Goetz, who also offers a selection of decent armor for sale. When prepared, proceed to interact with Joshua to progress further in the story.

After the conclusion of the cutscene, players will find themselves transported to a previously unexplored territory. Within the shattered realm where the formidable Ultima lies in wait, there exists just a solitary path to progress further. Along this treacherous journey, players will have the opportunity to delve deeper into Ultima's perspective of the ancient past. It is during this exceptional period that he unveils the origins of the blight and his inventive solution for addressing its devastating impact on Valisthea. Following a sequence of captivating cutscenes, the time eventually arrives to engage in a climactic battle against Ultima.

Ultima takes on a new form, leaving behind the weariness caused by Clive and Joshua. The battle commences with Ultima unleashing a barrage of lasers onto the ground ahead. Your main focus should be on evading these lasers until an opportunity to strike presents itself. Beware of Ultima's Graviga spell, as it summons a sphere that will explode a few seconds later. Maintain distance from this sphere to avoid its devastating impact. Another move in Ultima's arsenal is the Mark of the Storm, a menacing ability that trails the player and releases lightning bolts upon them. Stay agile and watch out for this electrifying attack.

At 75% health, phase two commences. Ultima unleashes the formidable power of Event Horizon, conjuring a rift that exerts a force, compelling players towards it. Employ constant efforts to distance yourself from this menacing phenomenon in order to evade any potential harm. Moreover, as Ultima's health plummets to 50%, he once again casts Event Horizon.

Once Ultima reaches 40% health, phase three initiates. Ultima will start employing fire abilities and magic, along with casting Frostbolt that generates sizable ice patches across the arena. It is crucial to avoid standing on these icy spots. Keep attacking Ultima while evading its assaults to emerge victorious and gain a Trophy tied to the story. Following multiple cutscenes, proceed to the Hideaway to embark on the next main scenario quest. Final Fantasy 16 can now be played on PlayStation 5.
