While this may initially seem like a lengthy process for just spinach, it is well worth it for players who want to create a classic Disney meal.

Similar to other vegetables in Disney Dreamlight Valley, players must purchase spinach seeds from one of Goofy's stalls. Once obtained, they can use the Royal Shovel to prepare the soil and plant the seeds. To ensure proper growth, the Royal Watering Can is used to keep the crop adequately watered. After a short period of time, the spinach will be ready to be harvested. While the process is straightforward, obtaining spinach seeds is essential before players can begin cultivating the crop.

Dreamlight Valley - How to Unlock Spinach Seeds

Spinach Seeds are exclusively available for purchasing at Goofy's stall in the Glade of Trust. Thus, players must first unlock this biome in order to acquire the seeds. Unlocking the Glade of Trust is possible by spending 5,000 Dreamlight at the Peaceful Meadow. Located near the entrance of this biome, Goofy's stall requires players to invest 2,000 Star Coins for its initial reconstruction. Furthermore, an additional 5,000 Star Coins must be spent to upgrade the stall, enabling the sale of Spinach Seeds. These seeds can be obtained endlessly at a fixed price of 45 Star Coins per seed.

Dreamlight Valley - Spinach Grow Time, Watering Needs, and Harvesting Tips

Spinach plants in Dreamlight Valley take 1 hour to grow, provided players consistently water them. Throughout their growth, these plants require two watering sessions. Once fully grown, players can harvest each Spinach plant and receive three Spinach as a reward. When exploring Dreamlight Valley, it is beneficial for players to bring a villager with Gardening expertise, as they occasionally offer additional Spinach. Moreover, planting Spinach in the Glade of Trust results in a 10% faster growth rate.

Spinach can be sold for 41 Coins per unit, with the seeds themselves costing 45 Star Coins each. However, each seed produces three pieces of Spinach, resulting in a profit margin of approximately 78 Star Coins per seed. While Spinach can be consumed raw to restore a mere 60 energy, Dreamlight Valley's tree fruits like Cocoa Beans offer a much better energy replenishment option. Instead of consuming it raw, players are advised to consider cooking Spinach into Kronk's Spinach Puffs, which is the only dish that specifically calls for Spinach. Since Spinach is easily harvested in large quantities, it works particularly well as an ingredient in recipes requiring any type of Vegetable.
