Disney Dreamlight Valley is an exciting game where players can hang out and engage with beloved Disney characters. Together, they can partake in various activities while progressing through the game. Along the way, players have the opportunity to construct homes, locate lost items, and eliminate any obstacles that have hindered the valley's beauty.
One such obstacle is the presence of enormous mushrooms that obstruct the path to the Glade of Trust. In response, Merlin, the wise wizard, devises a practical solution to permanently eradicate these fungi. However, he requires the assistance of players. To successfully complete The Final Trial quest and eliminate the mushrooms, players must gather the necessary items and fabricate the materials requested by Merlin within Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Complete The Final Trial
Talk to Merlin
To unlock The Final Trial quest, players must reach Level 10 friendship with Merlin. When this milestone is reached, players can approach Merlin and he will request them to collect the necessary materials for upgrading the watering can. This upgraded tool can then be utilized to eradicate the troublesome mushrooms.
Craft Purified Night Shards and Visit WALL-E
To craft five Purified Night Shards, gather 25 Night Shards and five Dream Shards by clearing the Night Thorns and digging up the ground. Deliver the five Purified Night Shards to WALL-E, who will crush them into Night Shard Powder. Collect the vial containing the powder and take it to Merlin. In return, Merlin will give you a recipe book containing the necessary ingredients for making the ointment.
Gather the Required Materials
Next, players will need to collect the following materials:
25x Mushrooms
1x Ice Heart
1x Falling Water.
In order to progress, players must collect 25 mushrooms that can be easily found scattered throughout Glade of Trust. After that, they will need to cultivate an Ice Heart from its seed. Fortunately, players do not have to search for this seed themselves, as the esteemed wizard will generously provide it to them during their conversation.
Plant the seed anywhere in the valley using the shovel, and patiently wait for it to germinate. After successfully gathering Mushrooms and Ice Heart, players will require just one more item, known as the Falling Water. To acquire the Falling Water, make your way to the Glade of Trust and procure a sufficient amount from the nearby waterfall.
Craft the Ointment & Remove the Mushrooms
After collecting the necessary materials, players can commence the crafting of the Royal Watering Can Upgrading Ointment. Once the task is completed, they should take the enchantment to Merlin, who will proceed to integrate the upgrade into the Watering Can.
Finally, remove the Watering Can from your inventory and utilize it to eliminate the mushroom patches. By doing so, you will successfully complete the Final Trial quest, thereby earning the coveted Merlin's Marvelous Wizard Hat as a well-deserved prize.
