Spyro: Reignited Trilogy – Cheats

While cheat codes can be useful, perhaps the most advantageous technique in the game doesn't rely on entering any codes. By simply pressing down on the left stick, players can have Sparx indicate the location of any gems they may have missed in the level. Initially exclusive to Spyro: Year of the Dragon, this handy trick has now been made available retroactively in all three games right from the beginning.
Between the Sparx trick and the cheat codes, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy players should have no problem beating the game and unlocking all of the skill points while they're at it.
Spyro: Reignited Trilogy-Exclusive and Special Cheats
In addition to the cheats brought back from the original trilogy, Spyro: Reignited Trilogy also introduces some exciting new additions to the franchise. One notable example is the Retro Spyro cheat, which gives Spyro's character model a nostalgic appearance reminiscent of the PS1 games. To enhance Spyro's appearance, players can exploit cheats such as the Sunglasses Cheat and Color Swaps. These cheats can be combined, allowing Spyro to sport a different color while donning sunglasses. Additionally, the Squid Skateboard is exclusively available in Year of the Dragon and can only be utilized within designated Skate Parks.
Superflame Powerup in Ripto's Rage
This cheat functions in a unique manner compared to others. It is not only limited to the game but also necessitates players to collect a total of 10,000 Gems and 64 Orbs within a single playthrough of Ripto's Rage. Once this requirement has been fulfilled, Spyro gains the possibility of having a permanent Superflame ability in all subsequent save files specifically for Ripto's Rage.

To revert back to Spyro's regular flame breath, players can simply enter the code in the pause menu. It's important to note that the Superflame Powerup Cheat will not function in Spyro the Dragon and Spyro: Year of the Dragon.
